Your Rack Reveals your Network

You can learn a lot by how someone builds their rack. Poor work on this relatively easy stuff reveals quality of work on the most important digital aspect of your company. Take note.

Who Is Your WebMaster

NOT having the right WebMaster doing the right job can mean serious consequences for your website and company.
With similarity in IOS and firmware of the devices, not much configuration required, I followed and connected the cables, and things progressed smoothly, apparently the internal script does the magic, thank you.
I'm wondering if the Cisco 9300 series switch supports stacking. By 'stacking', I mean the ability to connect multiple switches together to form a single logical unit that can be managed as one device. If stacking is supported, could you please provide some information on the maximum number of switches that can be stacked, the type of stacking cable that's required, and any other relevant details? Thank you!
The "data stacking" from this video is just that. You have multiple switches acting as one and they share data through 480GBps stack cables and act as one logical unit. For C9300 you can stack maximum of 8 switches You need STACK-T1-50CM= cable for that(or longer)
@@counterspell69 thnx
👍👍
Tks This vídeo a resolution for me problem
Thank you very much 👌🏾☺️
Is there a way I can connect C9500 & C9200 using RJ45 10G link for more than 50m distnace?
thank you man
Is there any configuration involved?
Thank you Compnology LLC!!
thank you it was good , can those switches be stacked while they are powered on
Very well explained 👍
Exactly what I was looking for, both the demo and information! Thanks!
There is a good reason he didn't screw those in real-time. They never match up great, especially w/ Chinese-made cables. So, put aside 2 hours just to work those in. Also, screwdrivers help. Finger-tightening doesn't work great. Pro-tip: The data cables WILL fit into the holes both ways. They will NOT be able to be screwed in, if they are the wrong way. To get them the right way, look at the sides and just make sure the Cisco brand logo is right-side-up. There was no other indicator that I could find.
i have a question, Virtual stackwise Configured on cisco 9500 as per Cisco documentation. no errors occurred. I see, after reloading it, searching other chassis in bootup. Results show only its own stackwise virtual link interface.it didnt sync with other switch. can any one resolve my issue
Thanks you for video. Can you teach, how config it ?.
Can you use the cables from the 3850s?

Thank you it was good demonstration

Excellent explanation
what happens if I go GREEN/YELLOW on the top and YELLOW/GREEN at the bottom for power stack?
Infinite power 😂
That is the correct way, he plugged it in wrong -_-
is this layer2 or layer3 ?
Layer 2
the power stack is wrong
Correct, I should indicate in another video in case someone takes it as a tutorial
so what is the correct way of doing this? Green/Yellow on top and Yellow/Green at the bottom?
@@gupttura2766 Top switch green/yellow and botton switch green/ yellow
Dear you have nice way to tech about networks please upload more stuff

I've been maintaining Dell Servers for several years. You brought to my awareness some features that I've been ignoring all this time. I never considered booting from the SD and I've always booted from USB; I'm going to boot from SD next time. It was nice to hear your setup and the reasons for it. This probably the best server review I've seen. Thanks.
I like your review and explanations.

Nice presentation!
This video is just what I was looking for. Thanks!
Really wish I had money to buy one of these! It's awesomely powerful!
Looks like worker have more than one job to do, so he cant waste all time and money on nice rack managment. Basicly job is not paying enought. Spacing between racks to avoid heating issues. No matters how you put 1u or 2u, its same dimensions between holes. |1cm|2cm|1cm| = |2cm|1cm|1cm|. Its matters only when size is 1,5u
Everyone have more stuff to do than installing hardware on a rack, but since you only do it once you should at least do it right the first time. Professionalism is on the small details.
1RU = 1.75 inches. There is less space between every 3rd hole. It's clearly easy to see the differences. The presenter makes some very good points. It doesn't take extra time to mount something in the correct holes (a.k.a. RU a.k.a. Rack Unit). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/19-inch_rack#/media/File:Server_rack_rail_dimensions.svg From a contractors installation point of view... Yes, we all know that companies usually competitively bid installs. A lot of the time, you get what you pay for. And most of us understand there usually isn't enough time to do things 100% how you'd like it done. To install a 1RU shelf, by itself, your company might get 4hrs to do the work if they're lucky. That means you have 4hrs to assess the job, inventory, unbox, stage materials, get your tools organized and/or taken out, and install things. Problem tends to be nobody factors in some of that time it's going to take... site access, unboxing, assess the job, discussing things with your contact on site, clean-up at the end of your install/day. All the little things add up. But none of that is an excuse to mount things incorrectly.
Can it run SAP for 5000 users?
