Ripping GATES Coffee Roaster- Mobula 6 Freestyle LUX Camera [16:9]
Well we had to try the TinyWhoop.com gates out at the roaster and we had a blast. Easy to set up and what's great is they are fairly good size so little more forgiving then the tiny gates.

The more I fly 75mm TinyWhoop size the more I realize how epic this size really is....I keep thinking this is where my next builds will be. Longer flight time, great stability and tracking and even great at the low end of the throttle.

Really loving the new Mobula 6 Freestyle with HDZero AIO and the LUX Camera. Did some ripping with it today at Greg's coffee roaster business. You can run the camera 16:9 or 4:3 ratio.
5 TinyWhoops- Which Is Best for Indoor Small Space?!
Просмотров 34419 часов назад
5 Tinywhoops flown- Mobula6 Freestyle with AIO and LUX camera, HDZero custom build with new HDZero AIO board and ECO camera, BetaFPV Air75, the original Mobula6 ECO (2 boards) and the new Hummingbird V3.1 RaceSpec tinywhoop. Obviously what works best for you is based on your skill and preferences but I thought this might be helpful for some of you with a smaller space like me.

The OLD FARTS WHOOP the SKATEBOARD PARK!
awsome man, does it feel heavy?
@@himox1651 definitely doesn’t feel light like my newbeedrone v3.1 race spec (16.5 grams) but it doesn’t feel heavy to me…I think it flies great and tracks well. I actually like them with a little weight as I think they fly better. 👍
@@BobsWorld_375 awesome, a bit of weight definitely helps with stability
Awesome Bob!!! 😮
@@chadhammond3381 thanks man we had a blast! 👍
Nice Subbed the channel
I absolutely agree man. I started off building my first 3 and 1/2 in and 5-in quads and flying them and breaking them and repairing them and then I found tiny Whoops! And there's just something about being able to literally fly everywhere and anywhere that is so intoxicating
Cute shop!
Nice flying, acro inside is tough for me, im cheating and using angle mode.
@@daves3016 thanks! Definitely tough…I left out the multiple crashes 😂
cant wait for my lux whoop to arrive hdzero shipping takes awhile....
You will love it! Have you tried other options like TinyWhoop.com? They are in Colorado so might be faster depending on where you are.
Awesome course :)
Thanks man...was/is fun!
Very cool, the music fits perfectly 😎👍. Best wishes and have a good flight
Thank you...you too!
Man you are putting out videos left and right! Nice dives!
@@NordyFPV lol I’ve got issues! 😂😬
@ FPV is an addiction for sure ! 🤣
I use flywoo x30 (and treat it like its poison) to make my camera & FC's hydrophobic for rain/fog/snow.
@@smika710 and it really works?
@@BobsWorld_375 I land in puddles and fly WHILE its raining and haven't had an issue yet. I just do not want to go through the work to conformal coat properly.
Bonjour de France, sympa ce petit vol en drone :) / Hi from France nice little drone flight :)
@@Batkofi 👋 thank you!
loose IR filter, unless you did some cool edititing in which case this is sick
@@SpacemanFPV1 lol all done in adobe premiere 👍😂
@ good cause mine turned all blue and pink when I lost my ir filter
Super cool edit, but man I'd hate to have to fly it like that!!!
Cool
Good edit!!! 🎉
Nice lut
Yes!!
Thats intense
2:27 yeeesss 🤌
Great spot!!
Yeah I know what you mean about the Hummingbird RS, it's very peppy, I took it down to 70% throttle and it was ok.
Nice and smooth 🫡
Shake N Bake!!! Great vid for the peeps in MN (snowy Midwest) who are entering the FPV hobby. Whoops are starting to fly more like a 5". People if you havent yet gotten your HDZero AIO 5 yet... do it.
Nice flow:)
I think your 16:9 footage from the lux was actually 4:3 stretched. There are two menu settings you need to change in the camera menu, one for screen size, and one for aspect ratio, and you'll get perfect widescreen with horizontal + fov.
Such a great video! Thanks for sharing!
Cool spot and great flight. Best regards and always a good flight 😎🫡
I want to get a drone to practice indoors, but eventual fly digital outdoor. Am I just going to have to buy analog goggles for indoor and then get digital later? I’d love to buy one pair of goggles for both.
@@ridemtns13 well you do have choices 👍. You could get a really cheap pair of analog goggles for your indoor whooping but would need to obviously get a probably more expensive set of goggles for your hd flying outside (ie dji, HDZero, etc)…or you could go with something like the HDZero goggles that let you fly both analog (with separate attachment added to goggles) and hd as well. Mostly I would see what hd system you are going to go with for external flying and go from there. The HDZero goggles are expensive but they are the best goggles I have owned…love them.
@ I’ve been looking for a way to use DJI because I’d like to fly well enough to film people biking or snowboarding. Unfortunately, it seems like DJI goggles aren’t compatible with any drones suitable for indoor flying. One last question, as an older guy with reading glasses, is the analog picture going to be even harder to focus on?
@ makes sense 👍 and you are correct. The analog picture definitely is good enough to fly but not great quality. The issue will be with cheap analog goggles and your glasses. Either your glasses won’t fit in the headset or there won’t be diopter adjustments in the goggles as they are usually only on the higher end goggles (ie hdzero).
@ thanks. Starting to think I should just buy a Neo, RC-N3 & goggles 2. By the time I learn to fly on that, the Mini 4 Pro would be available as standalone.
I love flying in kitchens. Just be careful of the sinks that may have water. Almost lost a whoop in one
@@brohamin definitely…Greg actually landed in one of his coffee grinders!! Luckily it was off 😂
SO cool! :)
What a fun spot to whoop!
Nice video my friend how do you turn the motor down on betaflight ?
Thanks! Not sure I'm doing it the "right" way but all I do is go into the PID tab and change it in two spots. Under the PID Profile Settings under throttle and motor settings I change it to what motor output limit I want (bottom right)...these flight I think I set it to 80% on most of them. Then under the Rateprofile Settings tab I change the Throttle Limit drop down to SCALE and under the Throttle Limit % I change it to the same #/% I used under the PID Profile Settings tab (outlined at first). Does that make sense?
@ I understand, but other than that nice video man. Great flying. I love tinywhoop I’m practicing every day on fpv logic do you engage in any sims ?
@@BobsWorld_375Doing both will have a compounding effect. Only one of these options is needed. I have a throttle scale programmed into my radio, and setup on a pot. It goes from 0-100%. The advantage of doing it this way is you don't have to set it up on each quad individually and you can lower it so much a child can try to fly your quad, just run the scale down to 20% or whatever 👍
@ great advice much better…thanks!!
@@notsure1502 thanks for that my friend
I fly a KayouMini which is like a 2s bubito
2:56 ... hell yeah, l recently built a 75mm (a meteor65 pro smashed into the air75 frame), I regret that l've never tried any 75mm, its soo smoth, agile and precise
@@samcacc..03 agreed definitely my next build! 👍
Very cool! Great job Bob!
@@chadhammond3381 thank you! 👍
Your fleet is growing!!
Thats awesome! Do you have a video on the whoop setup/build? is this a 65mm or 75mm?
@@mxracingunlimitedltd7784 hello! It was 65mm. I mainly flew my HDZero new build with the new HDZero aio (all in one board) and eco camera…702 motors at 27000 kv
@ Nice! What batteries do you like to use? I have a Mobula7 and I have some 660mah GNB LIHV 1s batteries for it and I think theyre alittle too heavy for it, and they haven't lasted even a few months now lol. What size battery do you tend to run on the 65mm? Like a 300mah? What brand have you had good luck with? The HDZero looks soo nice I noticed that right away lol.
@ I run 300 mah tattu batteries on 65 and 450mah lavas and tinywhoop.com 450’s as well on my 75mm. I tried the betafpv 1S 300mah and to be honest found them to be horrible…actually tossed them.
