very clear. proofs should not skip steps and the minute computations and transformations. this is where a lot of students get lost because the proof skips steps and the steps of logic is too much of a leap for a beginning student. since this is a video, every substitution should be made and every substitution shown. thank you for making this. this is very good
Thank you for your great review. I will try my best to maintain the good quality of videos posted here. I hope to see you around.
good continuo
How will be know if graph is below z axis?
If the graph of f is not given, its behavior at a point (a, b) on the xy-plane can be determined by substituting x = a and y = b into z = f(x, y). If z > 0, f is above; if z < 0, f is below; and if z = 0, f is on the xy-plane. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello Professoŕ Reginald! Good morning! Congrstulations fyour great classe and thanks for your teaching. Last weak I finished a Orbit Mechanical - Spacial Engineering Course by USP-Sao Paulo, with Professor Dr. Seleghim. The duration of course was one weak, was great! I liked it so much! My nesta regrada! Jacareí- São Paulo - Brazil
Thank you for watching. It is great to hear that students enjoy the lessons and learn from them. All the best on your future endeavors.
Great video..
sehr gut
Can you make video on using max and min to solve for number.of real roots of a equation If you ar free someday
What is the name of that topic?
nice videos man, but it is better to use your own voice
Thank you for watching. I'll do the videos with my own voice next time.
You are the best
Genius man
Interesting Man
Thank you from Pakistan
Thank you for giving us this educational video .. In this era when people are selling there family wife and kids you earn money you are an angle.... Please continue to educate us
What do you use to create your illustrations?
Hi! I use Geogebra for illustrations. It is pretty convenient to use and fully online.
@@ProfessorReginald Thanks. They are pretty well done. I have been slowly learning Manim, are you familiar?
Thank you. Manim sounds familiar. I think the big channels use them? They look fantastic, but I don't know how to use it.
@@ProfessorReginald The guy who created 3Blue1Brown wrote it. It's a library for mathematical animation. The interface is written in python, so you have to be familiar with writing python code and using the Python ecosystem. It's free and there are many free resources out there showing how to use it
Sounds good. 3blue1brown is one of the bests here on RUclips. Manim seems like a great way to go for more complicated demonstrations like in Vector Calculus. It's been quite a while since I used Python, so it will take time before I learn Manim.
Amazing how people want to repeat what already has been shown on RUclips at least 10.000 times. Reason: the need for attention, appreciation and money!
Thank you for your comment. I believe that there many ways to present a topic to the viewers. The videos here reflect how I would teach these topics to students. In each video, I try my best to simplify a topic, use graphs and animation to demonstrate the concepts, and add examples that hopefully clear doubts and confusion about the subject matter. This channel is young, and there are many courses I plan to cover in the future. I hope that while building this channel, I also learn what to post and how to present them effectively.
Personally, though I was already familiar with the topic, I found the video helpful as knowledge can be solidifed/extended by varied repetition of presentation Rather than criticize those trying to provide free learning resources, I prefer to simply appreciate their efforts Your comment is unnecessarily nasty, but worse, it is petty and narrow-minded
@@williammartin4416 Did I say the video wasn't helpful? No. 1-0 for me. Had it something new to tell us? No. 2-0 for me. So what's the use making it??? P.S. You could have checked your knowledge at 10.000 other places. Working for RUclips perhaps?
@@veronicanoordzee6440 No, I don't work for RUclips Just a random guy who isn't a jerk
@@williammartin4416 Don't forget your pills?
CORRECTION: For “Arc Length Parameter” example near the end of the video, please add “1” to the i component of r(s). r(s) = (1 + s/2) i + [sqrt(2)s/2] j + (s/2) k Thank you.
Nice video
Love it 😊
I thought the derivative of coth-1 is 1/1-x²
Yes, the derivative of coth-1 x is 1/(1-x^2)
@@ProfessorReginald I would like to ask if there's a difference between the 1/square root of x^2+1 and 1/1+square root of x^2?
Also, lift it higher and leave room for subtitles.
this is a really good way to deliver math. Can you get the AI to read the integral out loud? If you can get it really specific, "this as it relates to this" and maybe add more physics examples.
Thank you for your suggestions. Hoping the videos after this one had better narations. And also, I will add more Physics examples in the future.
Thats the best explanation i've heard could u personaly teach me maths
Thank you! Ask me here if you have any questions. I would be happy to answer them.
Great lesson
really nice visuals. thank you, sir.
Thank you as well. I am glad you liked it.
very nice example. thank you.
what is that x over absolute value of x function called? thank you.
It’s called the sign function. It returns -1 if x < 0, 0 if x = 0, and 1 if x > 0.
@@ProfessorReginald Thank you.
You pick great problems to show solution methods!
Thank you. I try my best to solve interesting problems.
Very clear and methodical, so very helpful. Thanks
I am glad it helps. Thank you for watching. 🥰
Which application did you use to create this 😊
I used powerpoint. 😀
Thank you prof! Such a big help.
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful.
Thanks professor. (Small thing, I think your voice would be better than the generated voice.)
You are welcome! Thank you for the suggestion. I will try if I can make videos with my voice. I am worried the automatic closed captions wouldn’t be accurate.
Thank You! Sir.
You’re welcome!
it actually is a nice video but try to speed it up a little, x2 speed was still kinda slow lol. but keep going dude, i enjoy nothing more than a little brain teaser cuz i aint studying my calculus consistently lmao
Thank you for the feedback. I will adjust the speed in the next batch of videos. I am glad you enjoy studying calculus.
