So Many Chores To Do Wisconsin Dairy Farming
In today's episode, we take a look at Monday morning chores on our 900 head dairy beef operation. It was a pretty wild morning filled with both problems and fun. We got a lot of stuff done, including feeding cattle, fixing water, catching loose cattle, bedding pens, and taking care of our prefreash!

Why Is Our Barn Smoking!?!?
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.14 дней назад
Today is a big day here at Wepner Farms. It is finally time to smoke our new calf barn and see how good our ventilation really is. We smoke the barn by using harmless smoke bombs to produce smoke that the ventilation fans then push into the barn. This essentially shows us where the air is traveling and we can then use this information to figure out air exchanges. We are very impressed with the ...

In todays video we work to fill in some hole that were made from our tile plow last year. Tile has a lot of benefits but is known for making fields very rough. This was an experiment with a 5 bottom I H moldboard plow to level off these ditches. In the end it took a pass with our Kuhn accelerator before we were able to use the plow without it plugging up! The 7270r was the perfect match for thi...

In today's video, we start off the day with a stuck combine. It has been a wet fall for us, and getting corn off has been a challenge trying to beet the soon to be cold weather. We proceed our day by harvesting enough high moisture corn to fill a 20x50 silo that we will use to feed high-energy feed to our dairy cows and steers. Corn is around 23 percent! Thank you, everyone, for watching! #farm...

Saving Thousands on Fertilizing Hay Fields
Hi. I've only been watching your videos which I find interesting for a few weeks. Did one of them concern manure management? (scraping, transfer to the pit, storage, etc.) Thank you
Thank you for sharing your great farm life. I came across your channel a few months back and have been able to watch all of the videos. Looking forward to many more videos.
Do you still have your Superduty?
You guys should buy a feed cart for your heifers so you don't have to wheelbarrow at all

Great Channel!!! Keep it up.
Thanks for offering a detailed look at family, farm, and personal history. For me that is what makes a channel interesting. So personal interesting info about your place in family, education, marital status. All that makes your story more relatable to we watchers.
I love getting to be able to see what you're doing with the cows.
Great videos! We really enjoy the content. We like trying to figure out what field or area of the neighborhood your work in.
You are doing a great job !! Keep it up !

Happy New Year, gotta random question, why don’t most dairy farmers keep their male calves to raise as steers for beef?
Are you one of the quintuplet kids
Ok,you are doing a most interesting job. I love your farming coverage, it will be great to learn more about you, Rick and Little Ricky history etc, always good content too. One thing that I personally Like❤is that you used the word "Productions" when you picked a name for the channel. I feel it adds a professional touch to the business that Farming deserves. Happy New Year and keep up the hard work.
Thank you so much I thought of names for a while and it just felt right! I appreciate it

Why did you tude it
Like to see you do some milking.
Great video
You need to build a sling to put the calves in when you're tubing them; easier on them; easier on you.
Never thought about this
Would be interesting to hear what you guys use all the harvestores for and how you run the feed out. Looks like you got a quite a few of them.
Copy that!
Love the old barn. Nice looking cows, too. How many cows does your friend milk?
I believe he's milking right around 60 or 70
Looks like you have some Holstein x angus there in your calf pen???? They are bringing good money for that cross. Least here in northeast…. Like your channel boys!!!!!
Another excellent video Alex most of you tubers I can’t understand what they are saying
5 star video young man. ❤
I’m in Texas my feet get cold just watching this video 😊
It always cracks me up to see some people wearing regular leather shoes, while other people wear tall rubber boots to do the same job! Then some guys wear Tingley rubbers,or whatever you call them-thin rubber boots that pull on over your regular shoes.
Haha yah, everyone's got there preference, everyone wears something diffrent here
Haha yah, everyone's got there preference, everyone wears something diffrent here
It’s interesting to see where the modern farm ends and where parts of the old farm still remain. Man that looks like a sloppy day! It ain’t supposed to be this warm in late December!
Happy birthday from germany
Awsome! Thank you!

Hello, the cows are tied up all the time, they eat there, they rest there and there are also the herds.
Why don't you answer my question?
What was your question? They are allowed outside after milking
Nice work..
That was a great video. We had a vacuum pump system no pipe line took the milk pails to the tank and dumped them.
That the way my dad did when he grew up on the farm back in the 60s&70s.
