RAZE Statement: In March of 2012, S/N was invited to come to China and create an intervention during Seek-Art’s RAZE exhibition in Beijing at Pekin Fine Arts. The resulting intervention was called The Beijing Remix Collection-- a new media project in which S/N remixed the urban landscape of Beijing during RAZE 2012. The remixes are video/sound-hybrids, which feature various neighborhoods in Beijing. 15 remixes based in sensory ethnography were installed back into the cityscape via QR-Codes.
