He was so versatile -- he could do anything w-every song he got his hands on, always sounding so different than anyone else, AND better than everyone else. Usually a singer sings in one style or genre, but Elvis covered every genre there was & he did it best. Just want to mention that on camera was Gene Doucette -- there was no mention or credit of his name. Gene was Bill Belew's right-hand man & at some point, Bill became overwhelmed with other projects & Gene took over in creating Elvis' jumpsuits. The photo @ end is Bill in the red shirt. There are so many Graceland videos that showcase Elvis memorabilia. This is such a good one. Especially, getting to see his wardrobe. I love it so much. I saw one that revealed his Chain jumpsuit and I almost cried just seeing it so carefully packed and being revealed on the video and then thinking of him performing in it. The lining had the makers tag and there was some stains of sweat and the white boots he wore with it. So amazing. I'm so glad that so many items of his and his family have been preserved.❤ Great video. Thank you.

Elvis was not signing the actual contract @ construction site -- Tom should not have said that. It was a mock-up for purposes of filming. See how bad info about Elvis gets started! There is some info that says Streisand was due to go to Europe, or on some tour to do show (if that's true I don't know) but somehow Parker managed to talk her into opening the hotel. Streisand was a very strong & could-be difficult person so it's amazing that she agreed. Not a fan of Parker but hats off to him for that because it would have been Elvis getting stuck w-the mechanical issues. (I can't remember requesting this but always interesting info.) Thanks so much.

Live vs Studio. Both great but different. Some songs were never played live or only incompletely. Some studio effects could not be repeated live. Death on 2 Legs- best version is the lyric video.

Oh, i love every second of TTWII. The movie shows him in rehearsals which tells so much, of him being a great "boss", a 'funny' guy, an arranger... I could never pick a favorite when it comes to Elvis -- I just have some songs that I like a little more than others. Regards "I Just Can't Help Believin' " -- he said he was very concerned about forgetting the lines, & he did have a little flub of lyrics but you can barely detect it here -- it's a little more noticeable @ live version & he glances over to the backups w-a little smile because they all knew what happened. He had another flub on "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" It's isn't very detectable & he sailed right along as if nothing happened. He was a master at going smoothly along if he had a small error in lyrics. It happened on the '68 special & he laughed a little at himself. But when these things happened to him it was just fine. He was never looked down upon for little errors -- sometimes it was even cute. Good to listen to all the songs again.
