This was a tough one to get through….losing Aunty Margs still doesn’t seem real. She was a blessing to everyone who knew her- and that was evident by the amount of loved ones who attended to our celebration of life concert. I can only pray that I am able to be touch half as many people as she did. I am so grateful to have had a guiding presence that lived with such grace, love, patience, intelligence, selflessness, and of course, musicianship. Just found out about the beautiful spirit behind this song courtesy of blacksdahistory. Dr Benjamin Baker is honouring black SDA women for Black History Month and our dearest Sister Eleanor Wright came up. To hear that she donated the proceeds from her songs to mission projects show a humility beyond compare. She could have made a fortune off that one song alone yet... God bless her and her family and all who, like me, are looking for a better day.
