Backyard Deer on Jan. 3, 2025 ~ Part 4
By the tree, I had my Ring camera set up (our GoPro did not operate at night), and I had thrown a third of a bucket full of corn for the deer. I then allowed it to run for the entire night.
I also activated the motion sensor so that it would always operate in an automated mode. This was done so that it would function automatically. The recording starts a little bit later than it normally does, and it continues for around thirty seconds, during which time the animals are moving around.

In the early morning hours of December 28, 2024, at approximately 12:47 a.m., it appeared to be a skunk running through our property. I was able to determine the reason behind the peculiar odor that I discovered in the middle of the night a few days ago.

    That community of birds that pass by your water and food station look very thankful I have a pair of scrub jays I feed peanuts too in my backyard, as well as some hummingbirds.
