Reality: Panther fires first from 1.5km away, destroys first in line then the last, and picks off the rest without getting hit once.
Reality: Panther breaks down because its shit the end

How does this stack up against Hell Let Loose? What are the main differences?
No idea I have never played it personally. However of my friends who have played both hell let loose is generally considered better.

I did want to take the comms off when i uploaded but what you are asking for is impossible since it was the ingame communication used to communicate with the tank crew. On the plus side It didn't pick up anything I was saying at the time.

With the sound of the ricochet's, explosions, and utter chaos. Seeing things like this always make me think, how did men, mere boys in a lot of cases, function and continue to follow orders and complete tasks. I've always had an appreciation for the men of any army from the Second World War but, just makes me wonder how they managed it all
The answer is that the majority of them didn't and got killed within a few days of deployment.
Your training Propelled you forward in these situations.
Not to mention actual adrenaline will push you forward in such times. You have no time to ponder and think or be nervous, only to act.

Wouldn't the round go in and kill the crew, even 50cal bullets could do a lot of damage I can't imagine even if their tank could stop those bigger rounds. Is it even possible that it ricochets of it.
The amount of armor and how it’s angled to will not penetrate with bullets
50cal bullets can barelly scratch the 120mm thick front armor of the panther. Its also angled so the shells often ricochet.
@@neonknight-1522 yeah Panther hull is 80mm but at its angle its effectively ~130mm

Yeah i think it has something to do with how i encoded the video originally it doesn't show the game in its true light. Plus this was 2 years ago im sure it has many improvements since.
@@daggers88 Looks like you just turned texture quality to low.

@@SacramentoNativ3 Yeah i think you do but you have to be a certain loadout to get it I was just a normal infantry section with a k98 you get very little gear as a standard troop. I think tank commanders get them for when you are open hatched it gives you better awareness but obviously easier to kill.

You captured a gem of a battle. These games and situations are so immersive. That's why I always prefer them over those arcade-like FPS games (Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc) that flood the market every year.
I would love to play this game on PS5 or XSX.
Moments like these in more hardcore games like PS or Squad or Project Reality back in a day are gold. It's almost an experience, you don't forget such stuff. It makes all this hours of walking and planning so so worth it
