This is NOT The West Highland Way...
Просмотров 1053 месяца назад
So as I explain in this video I had to cancel my hike along the west Highland way and then onto the the Great Glen Way due to injuring the tendon on the bottom of my left foot. This video is after weeks of resting it trying to get back to normal but unfortunately it's looking like I'm going to have to take it easy until the new year so here is the first video vlog of whatever we get up to in ou...
Another Scottish Highlands Roadtrip | Glencoe to the White Sand Beaches of Mallaig.

A trip so good it had to be done again...and this time with Kyle! It's just a short one of the trip this one, we kinda ended up treating the trip as more of a holiday which was needed after the trail hiking in Cornwall the days before we set off on this trip. Always great to be back up in this area of the world and not long now till I'm hiking through it all. Music Credits: Music from #Uppbeat ...
Scafell Pike via The Corridor Route | CRAZY WIND at the Summit 💨
Просмотров 1795 месяцев назад
What can I say about this path....it's nothing short of amazing! We follow the corridor route up to the summits of Lingmell and onto Scafell Pike from Seathwaite. A true Lake District classic!! I had a nightmare trying to edit out the wind on this trip but got as good as I know how, pretty happy with the outcome compared to the original audio. Enjoy folks 🫡

This is the final part of my Cornwall mini series. In this episode I hike from Hollywell Bay to St Ives getting one final camp in yet again another amazing place on the South West Coast Path. Really hope you've all enjoyed this series, the multi days certainly aren't over for the year. I have 2 more scheduled in as it stands and can't wait to get back out on trail already!!
We Went Camping to Watch England Reach the Final of Euro 2024.

Don't think this needs much of a description, it's exactly what it says it is! We headed out for a wild camping on the Cumbria Way to watch the Semi Finals of Euro 2024 and what a night it was. Didn't go into this with much confidence but we got the job done. Cracking camp!

This is the penultimate part of my Cornwall mini series. Enjoyed this day and awful lot more than the previous day. Bit of a battle with the wind again but it's to be expected on the coast really. Hope you enjoy the video!

What a day this was!! Was absolutely knackered heading out but the warmth of the sun and the views were nothing short of outstanding and kept me going till nightfall. Is this the Lake Districts BEST outlying fell?
A Solo Wild Camp on a Local Flood Plain | I Had a Outdoor Cooking Disaster 😖

This was a fun solo camp on some local flood plains I did recently. Would have been a perfect night if it hadn't been for what happened to my tea! Lovely sunset and sunrise to make up for it at least. Hope you enjoy and thanks for clicking on the video, it's much appreciated. Is that a Snugpak Travelpak? Got the Travelpak 2 myself and its unbelievable for the price! I can compact it down to almost the size of my Nalgene and I find it comfortable at even 7°C in nothing but my baselayer. Damn fine for a 60 Euro fiber bag!
Sorry for the late reply! It's the Snugpak TSB (the sleeping bag) and it is huge, I have been looking at the travel paks recently and thinking of grabbing one purely down to the pack size, your comment may have just made my mind up, thank you!
What an inspiration, what a guy
Good to see you back mate. Shocked to find out you're human by getting an injury, always thought you were a machine with your hiking pace 😂 Speedy recovery and I'll be tuning in to see what you lads get up to 👍🏻 #beersandbenches
Hahaa, thanks man. It's really not been my year for hiking unfortunately...one thing after another!
@@Outbound. Hopefully we get better weather for it next year 🤞🏻
Rated at 25-30 mph winds.
2nd part tent setup WRONG for wind!
FAIL!!!! Because of fall of the land base . To much slope for me!
You two are having an adventure. 🫣Even your number fan was watching carefully while on the step!!
charvers out and about nice to see keep up the good work lads thanks
Cheers, it was a fun trip. Just wish I'd recorded more
Top Job ..... cheers from Newquay. BTW ( Por.... treeeth). Have a good un.
Hahaa cheers! Its finally stuck in my head that it's Carbis Bay and not Cardis as well 😂

Hahaa, I had to get that in!
@@Outbound. he saw himself and went crazy!!!
Was it the lager price that made you realise the Aldi was more expensive? 😂
Maybe 😂
Cracking first episode. Been looking forward to this series as my dad was from Cornwall and we have spent many of holiday down there.
Thanks man, I was same as a kid. Got another 3 more videos to come from the trip and will all be longer so hope you enjoy...you'll certainly see the ups and downs of the trail!
Looks beautiful can’t wait for the next one!
Have a good one! Looking forward to the video.
Thanks man, it's been fun so far.
Looks a decent stroll, unfortunately like most things local the lack of a regular bus means I'd have to drive up the A6 pay for parking and then walk down to Pooley and get a bus back up. Might as well just drive through Lowther straight down there. Ironically its easier to get public transport from Lancashire where we used to live (bus, train etc) up to Penrith, than from the village I live ten miles down the A6 Enjoyed the video. Think I'll stick to Loweswater though in the Mardale👍
Pleased you enjoyed the video. The bus services in Cumbria don't make a whole lot of sense I fully agree with you there. The buses for Carlisle are all over the place if you want to head to the Lakes!
Good to see you back and out n' about mate.
Thanks man, pleased to finally get a video back up. Got some really fun adventures coming up over the next month
Nice camp that one! Bloody lovely feeling the sun again.
It really was a fun one, can't wait for the warmer weather after that!
i like your videos they are so upbeat great to watch well done sir classssssssss
Thanks man, glad to hear you're enjoying them. Much appreciated 👍
You should put one of those stabilisers on the bottom of your gas canister mate.👍🏴🏴⛺️
It had one one on man, I was using a little brs stove and too big of a pan....my own fault really! Time to upgrade to something a bit bigger I think
You can get those coffees in farmfoods.👍🏴🏴⛺️
I don’t like camping near sand mate.👍🏴🇬🇧⛺️
Camp on it then
😆 *Promosm*
Shame you couldnt get the tents up but still a good road trip lads class scotland like i was laughing when the iron bru truck showed up and that seat is a absolute topper to have a beer on class good adventure 👍
Thanks man, we've talked about this trip for years it was great apart from the weather but can't expect it all in Scotland this time of year!
Tropical Explosion really took me off guard 😂
Couldn't resist 💥
Please make it a recurring theme haha!@@Outbound.
Hahaaa, I'll keep it in mind mate! Need some more Juice Forsyth
Great video mate! Keep up the good work, you've got a great on-screen personality! Always engaging 😀
Thanks man, that's lovely to read! I do enjoy a good waffle on camera 😆
Quality vid just checking channel out the 1st time
Thanks man, plenty more adventures coming!
Keep the adventures coming. Did have a laugh at making Kyle walk back for the beer you had 😂

Again lads very interesting 👍 enjoy good flog love caves it brings the sence of a camp and a little more adventure to it all 😊
Thanks man, pleased you enjoyed. It's such a good place to visit
Found this interesting to watch good vlog buddy I love anything new of this place new sub cheers for sharing that's the same as me record the notice signs then have to go back on my own vids to get the info my self hahaha 😆 cheers
RE the wind, whilst in no way is this a mountain tent, I have had mine in 45 mph gusts and it was superb and still. I ran a length of cord with loops on the ends, acoss the short pole hook -on points which stopped them popping off. I also took the guys around the poles a couple of turns prior to pegging out. Solid.....and quiet.
Thanks for the tips. Night Cat are replacing the poles for me so it certainly won't be it's last run out, I do really like the tent just won't be taking it up high this time of year again.
"Guys we have a problem, the boss said that a new devil is arriving"
Nice one baker. Weather not in your favour there dude ya need a hammock g go or the nasty wet to keep you off the ground
Cheers man, sick to death of the wind and rain! Lovely day to be out today at least
@@Outbound. welcome to the world of named storm camping.
I knew that tent couldn't hack it! Night Cat are replacing the poles for free though at least
@@Outbound. well that’s good of them at least they are standing by you
They do advertise it as 4 season 😂
❤
Id love to see a video of the Te Araroa..... Maybe time to go international !!!
I am currently waiting on a new passport 👀
Kyle zip ya bag up ey 😂

Well done mate, good trail vid 👍 I did the CW last year and my own set of videos. Just subbed 👍
Thanks very much. It's great trail isn't it
Great video. Have you posted the full route you went.
Thanks, yeah the route should be in the bio. If it's not a link it's the URL to the route.
Loving the content mate. Keep it up. You would be in your element it New Zealand
Cheers man. I bet I would be! Hope you're well.
Pretty walk cuzzz , so much lovely moss haha
I forgot you'd added this! Yeah it was a fun one, you should come for a walk at Derwent Water once you can again.
@@Outbound. So did I until I was looking what to watch and seen you pointing ,like wait a minute is that cuzz?! Haha yehh would be nice 🙂 just mastered the stairs but ayye 😂
Hahaa I like a good point 😂. That's progress though with the stairs, be running a marathon in no time.
Nice one mate, another great tour 👍🏻
Cheers man, gotta love the £2 bus tickets!
Enjoying your videos, your enthusiasm really shows.
That's great to hear, thank you.
Another awesome vide my friend! Great atmosphere!
Thanks so much, had fantastic time making this one!
Nice work mate good video, enjoyed watching. All the best
Thanks man, I really enjoyed this trip.
That stretch to The Lion - all the videos I'd watched prior did not do it justice - mainly because it goes on and on and on with nothing worth videoing. Next year I think I'll do an E to W crossing - mind you it'll be hotel to hotel and I can walk home to Whitehaven from St Bees after. Well done on finishing with the injury.
I quite fancy doing it again someday in that direction myself, it's such a great trail...well bar the part mentioned! Caused myself the injury in hindsight trying to get that out the way so fast....thank you though, much appreciated.
I went thigh deep in one of the bogs after 9 Standards - heavens opened at Ravenseat to wash the peat off before getting into Keld. You were walking during the coronation - we walked when the Queen passed - it would have been really sad but the rail strikes got cancelled so we could all get home easier. RIP QE2
Fun fact I was doing the Lakes leg of the C2C at the same time last year. I was sat in the pub in Patterdale when it was announced.
I was wondering why you'd got off the train at Whitehaven in the beginning plus I'm surprised you didn't get onto the C2C route at Moor Row. Also, The George?? Did you mean The Shepherds in Ennerdale?
The Shepherds Arms, yeah that's the one. Fantastic spot. Like I said with the route I've done it all before so went as direct into the Lakes as I knew how from the coast.

Agree mate, Cholula all the way 🔥
Yesss! It's that or sriracha really 🤷
Happy Birthday mate 🎉 Enjoy your weekend of celebrating and camp outs 🍻
Thanks man, bit of a wet one so far!
Happy Birthday! Great video as always! Shame about forgetting the fork!
Bound to happy eventually 😂, thanks Jenny.
