I would like to add Tumbarumba to that collection.Being a Canberra local most of our wineries source their Chardonnay from here and the 2022 Penfolds Yattarna which will set you back $220.00 uses mainly Tumbarumba fruit as it was such a great vintage. For excellent examples try wines from these wineries.Johansen, Obsession, Wondalma, Collector, Nick O'Leary, Kosciusko, Linear, Clonakilla, Ravensworth and Eden Road. All wonderful.

Thanks Huon, Happy New Year to you and your team. I enjoy your reviews, and value your opinions. I run red/white spreadsheets for my (modest) cellar and include your rankings for each wine/vintage not just for the absolute score, but also for the relativities between vintages. Together with my purchase price I then can assess value for money. Another factor is longevity, and your reviews provide aging windows, very useful. So Real Review helps me give wine cellaring purchases some rationale, rather than running around buying all sorts, and then ending up with a 57 varieties collection which I did in my younger days. It helps that aging of oneself to determine which wines you really do like and want to collect and drink and not get sucked into the latest fad/bargain. All this may sound boring - it's not, buying and collecting wine costs money. Sorry, did I not mention the fun bit? Drinking it of course, and a Leconfield 2021 Cabernets is tonight's choice. Cheers

Just tried the 2023 vintage & is amazing for a young wine. Now I need to have the patience to give it a bit of age! My first Gibson Riesling tasted. Usually renowned for reds but this may be one of their best wines?
