I believe that some people can't cope when it's to structured, they crumble and don't want/dare to take any initiatives. CS changes every round, getting information or a kill creates opportunities that has to be taken right there and then on the spot, or that opportunity is lost instantly. Having a strict/structured style will get people to hesitate, and when you start to hesitate it's only downhill from there mentally. There needs to be a strict aspect "this is our gameplan" but the players needs to have some kind of freedom to take the initiatives created on the spot. When it gets to strict, you make people confused, you make them ask "Is this okey?" mid round and the moment is lost. It's a little like being micro managed, the employees starts to ask for every single decision, everything takes longer time, and no one takes initiatives or ownership. Since they did good at first with a more "pug" play, this seems to be the case. I believe that maybe Alex didn't fully understand Xizts Plan/strategy and/or couldnt adapt, which caused him to not be able to manage the team properly because of it.
