I'm one again drawing a fantasy elf but this time she's all mossy! I've been doing art streams over on tiktok and this is one of the paintings I've been doing for them, I've got a speed paint planned for *just* the sketch because it's taken me 2 hours and then another one for the painting maybe??? if y'all are interested I'm also trying to get a microphone so my audio will hopefully be improved...

This is such a useful technique but I would recommend sketching first and then tracing with pen❤
@@Icandoitwith_abrokenheart this is sketching, going in with a pencil first defeats the purpose of sketching in ballpoint pen, which is to make you more mindful of your lines and teaches how to do something in less strokes
@ but I think of it as the pen messes up so if you do a light sketch, you can erase your mistakes♥️
@Icandoitwith_abrokenheart that's also part of the point of drawing in pen😅 it's to be able to live with your mistakes and to make you less precious/ less of a perfectionist when drawing 🩷
