the difference between 4/4 and 8/8 is how you divide up the measures. look up additive meters on wikipedia. for example, if a measure is divided into 5+3 (ONE two three four five ONE two three), it can't be 4/4, you have to call it 8/8. lots of musicians don't know this for some reason

biffy is one the best band around yes someone fucked up somewhere when that twat off xfactor did a cover but everyone makes mistakes :D

I'm really glad that Biffy have made it big - they totally deserve it. I remember watching them play the little haunts like the civic in Wolverhampton a couple of times etc. etc. etc. and they were always so hardworking. I suppose it's paid off now. That said, I only enjoy their music up to Vertigo of Bliss, but hope they keep going because a lot of my favourite bands from my college days haven't done anything in ages - come back Jetplane Landing!

@GamesAndMusic2009 Please... don't pretend to be an expert in subject you clearly know nothing about lol... it's in 4/4. No arguments. None. There is a heavy emphasis on the quarter note beat throughout this entire song. Start to finish..... Oh... and what a great song it is as well XD

Selling out? Piss off. There are only two bands allowed to make the same record over and over again... AC/DC and Motorhead. Everyone evolves musically and moves in different directions, whether you like it or not. I have no idea why people are comparing Muse to Biffy, they are seriously two completely different bands which play completely different music, why compare them? I love and listen to both bands, and I saw them both live at the same gig (yeah biffy only played Only Revolutions stuff... still was good though, although Muse played sunburn+citizen erased). Stop comparing apples and oranges and ENJOY THE MUSIC.

@camdash Even they've admitted that was a bad desicion, but they're nice guys and thought why not let him, and then they were dissapointed when he added his own little twists like a whole key change etc.
