If those brushes are black and white jpg/ pngs yes… not sure about photoshop files however I am sure you can use same brushes to import in any other photo software as well like gimp or affinity and then use a square black image, size up you brush in white to match the size of the image and klick once so you “got the brush” and then you’re good to import that. That’s the only way I know how that could work. But if anyone else know let me know too!

@@breadfortodayllc Hi Thank you very much for your quick response!! These Brushes are ABR-Files. I thought that theres maybe a way to import or append them into Blender like Fonts etc. but so far nothing worked for me. I will definetly try your method anyway because it works and there are more software like photoshop as you mentioned^^ :D

Brushflow? I tried it in the process with this… ended up deleting it because it made it look more chaotic, and looking at arcanes style they didn’t look chaotic with brushstrokes all over

Yea I agree… I tried to mix it with this one but it seemed to chaotic for what I was trying to achieve

Hi! Thanks!! Yes it’s def an alternative, although a bit more resource hungry. However they created the add on in a way where you can easily disable everything in the view port for more performance. I was just trying out different forms for painterly animation and def learned something from all the different ways to combine nicely in the future projects and videos 💯

I've been playing with brushstroke but I think is not the way to go for my project, I'm trying to export to GLB so baking does not get a good finish and if I convert brushstroke to mesh it gets very heavy, I'll try your method with te corals and see if I can bake it. Select that plane that is floating around there somewhere where it projects your potential normal map, or just switch to another layout window, like shader and select it there… once that is selected, you should see that when you switch to edit mode the special edit mode is automatically available. But it won’t if your imported model is selected

Thanks! Glad you like it. It took me maybe 2 weeks total… however I had little time etc… so maybe 12 hours or so total. Not too long. I kept everything low poly. It’s rendered in Eevee next and has some effects in the compositor. The brushstroke shader sometimes does slow down the real time animation, but you can disable it for the animation timing and then just have it on for rendering.
