I would use that outside my shirt in the fall and winter with a coat over it
I thew up grandma's green kia sorento I got car sick
That could be a medical device nobody don't have to know what you have carrying
No help at all for me! No demo for removing the batter pak.😠 ????
Dude the videos from 13 years ago lol...
How do I get the center battery holder OUT of it's case??? Impossible for me. Didn't just slide out like yours did??? I've got 2 of them and CANNOT take the batter pack out>>>
Good review. I think the one from Crossbreed may be better. Mainly because you can attach it any angle that you want to.
So not for big bone people got it
I’m looking for one that supports TLR 6. At least a minimalist holster. Cant find shit
You can give them a call, or check their website. See if they support that particular model. I have an LCP max. Holster I bought is for LCP2. But it does work with some slight issues. Maybe there's a similar situation for your firearm. Maybe they don't make one specifically for your model but there may be another model that would work as well. I did some Google searching to see what might work with mine and came up with the LCP2 Good luck with it
if you can't afford a real holster....
I can afford whatever I want, it's a matter of what holster will work with the clothing that I need or choose to wear. Made that pretty obvious in my video. As to why I was interested in this holster.
Lose some weight.. That will help
Material of the shirt is a lot of the problem. Something like heavyweight cotton will bridge it better
Thanks.. appreciate that will try that.
Ultimately it might need a jacket to cover it so it might not be ideal summer carry. I’m considering one myself.
@@donalddietrich9442 That certainly would help, but a jacket is not really practical where I live. Maybe for 2 months of a year.. Usually it's t-shirt and shorts
The key to proper concealment is using one's own body contours to their advantage when hiding their gun. This is different for every person since we all have different body types.
Definitely true, I've seen videos of holsters that work for some people and then others that didn't. That's why there's 10 million different types of holsters and different firearms for different people. Just like shoes or anything else everyone is so unique that it's not a one size fits all proposition
As of today, this holster is $26. It appears kind of expensive for something that probably cost them less than $1 to make. I’m still on the fence and videos like this are helpful. Thank you.
Keep in mind there's time involved in printing The holster. And depending on what kind of machine they're using. The higher end 3D printers can get a bit expensive. Also depending upon how many they're making. They might need to have a whole bunch of those printers going simultaneously. So you've got equipment costs as well as the material on the plastic spools, as well as maintenance and upkeep and calibration. So there's more involved with it than just the value of the material itself. I do some 3D printing myself, and it can be a bit tedious to set some of these things up. Or you got to spend a lot of money on higher end equipment. Appreciate the comment, glad it was helpful.
I just bought this and having the exact same problems you are having. Thank you for your honest review. I feel bummed same as you do.
It’s going to print regardless of your weight, the gun sits one inch away from the bellyband, for slim people it may not print standing still but it damn sure prints when you move.
Got one for my Glock 19 Gen 5 and my Glock 25 Gen 5 naked holster damaged my Glock trigger guard by fading it and damaging the finish
Well that sucks.. surprised the holster . material would be stronger than the Glock trigger material. I'll trade cosmetic stuff for usability... But still sucks.
Jm4 tactical magnetic holsters are the BEST for every gun - with any attire. 😊
Been thinking about one of those too. They look really nice.
I have the same light takes 4 cells can't find another one
Bought these years ago.. they still work. Think they had the button cells in them
I had an lcp2 once. Then my house got broken into and they ripped my safe from the wall. Sucks. But that’s what happens in Detroit mi.
Nice! It was entertaining lol
Great review
Did you try upper torso at 2 o’clock position. I find it pushes the handle closer to your body at that position for me
I only wear OWB kydex with a larger t shirt over it or jacket I can honestly care less if someone sees it.
But then you’re not the gray man anymore and any shooter sizing up the kill zone takes you out first.
Did you ever find anymore info on the max? Because, I have the LCP 2 one sitting in my cart about to roll the dice same as you.
Last time I checked the max was not listed as compatible. I think I sent them an email at the time to confirm.. They do show the LCP 2. I just looked at there web site. essentialholsters.com/products/the-naked-holster
@kens97sto171 yea I heard you sat that in the video I was just trying to see if you tried it and had feedback prior to me ordering one. But I'll just try it and see.
@@briantruxtonjr.6108 Are you wondering if the Max will fit in the holster that they make for the LCP 2? I sent them an message and asked them that. They told me no that they are not compatible. I have no idea if it might work and they just don't want to have a liability issue? The trigger area on the LC2 and the max are pretty damn similar. I mean I guess the worst case is you're risking $25. If it doesn't work
@kens97sto171 update, lcp2 clip works and doesn't appear to hook trigger or cause safety concerns in my personal opinion. It's slightly tighter going on than others but works no problem.
@@briantruxtonjr.6108 Thanks for the update... Much appreciated. I'll pick one up . The Max is a really nice little piece. And this holster would be awesome with it
honestly i think the only people that would notice that print is other people who carry who are actually looking at you trying to spot a print
You might be right.. we tend to be more self conscious about it.
Nope I notice it as soon as he turned around and if he was at a store moving around everyone would notice it.
Helo frends super
Wearing a printed design (Hawaiian) shirt will help camouflage the printing. The black shirt makes it more obvious.
Thanks. Good idea..
The clicking you're hearing is the glow plug relay cycling. Here's an interesting article on its workings, there's several others, on diagnostics etc. First if you have DTRLs (daytime running lights) set the park brake before starting. This will turn off the headlights and illuminate the parkbrake light only. Allowing valuable power to be used for the GPs and start 6 PeriodRelease the park brake before moving after the start. 93 year info 7 Periodother than some fuses mentioned the 7.3 system 87-94 is basically the same. GLOW PLUG CONTROL HOW THE CIRCUIT WORKS The Glow Plug Control circuit applies power to the Glow Plugs, which heat the combustion chambers so that the diesel engine can be started. Glow Plug Controller The solid-state Glow Plug Controller, attached to the top of the engine block, controls the Glow Plug pre-glow and after-glow time. It also controls the circuit’s operation by sensing engine temperature, Glow Plug voltage and after-glow voltage from the start/run circuit. When the Ignition Switch is turned to START or RUN, voltage from Maxi-fuse K is applied through the Glow Plug Controller to the Wait-To-Start Indicator Lamp. The Glow Plugs heat up in zero to fifteen seconds, depending on engine coolant temperature. After the Glow Plugs heat up, the controller cycling switch opens and turns the Wait-To-Start Indicator Lamp off. The Glow Plugs are now warm enough for the engine to be started. At the same time the Ignition Switch is turned to RUN, voltage from Maxi-fuse K is applied to the after-glow timer (located inside the Glow Plug Controller). The after-glow timer cycles the Glow Plugs for up to two minutes, depending on engine temperature. The after-glow timer then opens. The Wait-To-Start Indicator Lamp will not light during the after-glow period. If the Ignition Switch is turned OFF, it can be turned to ON immediately, and the Glow Plug heating cycle will start again. Diesel Start/Run The diesel engine uses two batteries to provide extra power for starting and Glow Plug heating. Power is applied from the batteries, through heavy gauge wires, to the Starter Solenoid (located in the Starter Motor assembly). When the Wait-To-Start Indicator goes out, the Ignition Switch can be turned to START. With the Ignition Switch in START or RUN, voltage is supplied to the Fuel Heater, Fuel Shutoff Solenoid, and the Engine Temperature Switch through Maxi-fuses K and U. The Fuel Heater is in the Fuel Filter/Separator. It heats the diesel fuel, melting any wax that might clog the filter. The heater has an internal thermostat to turn it on as needed at 32*F. The Fuel Shutoff Solenoid controls the flow of fuel into the injection pump. With the Ignition Switch in START or RUN, the Solenoid is energized, and fuel is allowed to flow into the injection pump. When the Ignition Switch is turned off, the solenoid is deenergized, fuel flow stops, and the engine stops running. The Engine Temperature Switch provides voltage to the Cold Timing Advance Solenoid and the Cold Idle Solenoid. When the engine temperature is below 112°F (44°C), the Engine Temperature Switch is closed. When the Ignition Switch is turned to START or RUN, the solenoids are energized, advancing injection pump timing and engine idle, allowing the engine to run more smoothly when cold. When the engine temperature reaches 112°F (44°C), the Engine Temperature Switch opens. This deenergizes the solenoids, returning the timing and idle to normal.
Thank you for the very detailed and informative response. I appreciate all of the information. I don't have any of the documentation for this truck. And quite frankly it's just sitting in my yard waiting to get a transmission and a few other things done to it. But I do go out and start it regularly and let it run and come up to temperature and also run it through the gears just to keep the transmission in some decent shape. The truck does run and drive, but it's missing 2nd gear Currently it's got all the tire's flat except for two. So it isn't being really driven at this point. One of those projects it's on the back back back burner. But the engine runs fantastic.
Hey I know this was from 13 yrs ago but I’m going through the same thing. Was the process for buying it sketchy?
Not at all.. but like you said it's been a long time. I have no idea what the company is up to now days or if they still exist. At the time it was super easy process.
As soon as he said Taurus G2, I clicked pause and then commented and done with the video.
So you make assumptions before getting facts. G2 has been flawless for me. I shoot it more accurately than other pistols I tried. Let me guess... It's a cheap gun and not a Glock.. so it has to be bad. Well.. I've got hundreds of rounds thru mine... Works for me.
Who cares? it's a review for the holster, not the gun. everyone has their preferences on what they like to carry.
Taurus has become remarkably reliable after the leadership change
I personally have not found a firearm that is more reliable and fits the purpose for my needs than the Taurus G2c. Never had a bad Taurus.
@@EmbraceTheSuck try a shadow systems gun
Try it under your belly?…That’s what I do.
I was thinking about getting this since I’m a pretty nice sized buy about 300 pounds. I wear shorts religiously so I’m not exactly sure what to do. Have you found a good alternative that doesn’t print?
VERY good informative video, thanks for sharing!
Your welcome. Glad it helped
I have the Sport Tuck belly band with the Shape Shift 4.0 holster for a Sig P365 and it is great. I think maybe you should give it a try. I live in southern Florida and wear t shirts a lot and it conceals great because it’s IWB. Good luck.
I also practically live in gym shorts and the Sport Tuck belly band is perfect. I don’t need a belt using it so I can wear it and dress any way I like.
Its not the holster fault. Works for some and not for others. Everyone has a different body build. Looks to me the AG Sport Tuck Belly Band Expansion may be a better concealment. Think about it… the low pro hold the pistol on the outside of the belt. The sport tuck holds the pistol on the inside of the belt for a lesser to no print. Try it out. Thanks for the video.
I'm sure your right.. but inside the belt does me no good.. I was looking for a holster that I could wear with sweats or shorts... I have a great holster I can use when wearing jeans with a belt. It works fantastic. Thanks for watching and the reply.. have a wonderful day.
Dude... Put on a LOOSE shirt and take another look. I've got a cheap elastic belly holster made by 'Kayle' that I'm packing a Ruger GP100 .357 around in! Normally the weight of the gun (and speed strips) would pull it down around my waist, but for once in my life? My 'love handles' worked in my favor. That 'dip' between our tits and belly is an asset! (who knew?) Although you look more uniform between your tits and belly. The only downside to my rig is wearing it in the summer. I sweat when it's 75 degrees and I'm in shorts and a t-shirt, so wearing this in the summer isn't going to happen. BTW? I'm 6'2" and 290 pounds.
Try cross draw, belt level above left pocket.
Thanks for sharing, Do you feel the recoil from your Ruger LCP Max is less than your full size 9mm ? I am on the fence about buying one. I live in Tucson and people here also seem to think it's ok to dump trash everywhere here too.
I think the Ruger LCP Max perhaps has a bit more recoil, more felt recoil anyway. The grip is smaller and so that recoil impulse is spread across a smaller area on your hand. But it's very manageable considering the trigger is pretty good. Overall that Taurus G2 which was the 9 mm I was shooting is easier to shoot. So if you're not worried about the size I would go that route. Plus the firearm is cheaper holds more rounds out of the box and ammunition is much less expensive by about half so you'll be able to target practice a lot more easily with the 9mm. But honestly they're both really excellent pistols. You could take a look at the RUclips channel scooch? He has a review of the LCP Max and he does a lot of rapid fire in that video, as he does in all his gun videos. Definitely shows the manageability of it pretty well. You can get a 12 round magazine for the LCP Max also but you have to buy it separately. I saw a two pack of magazines for $50.
send itback and getyour money back and keep looking.
Yeah.. that's what I'm thinking. Thanks for the comment.
It's called a walking stick, because...well it looks like a stick with legs. Rare to see since they blend in with their surroundings so well
Glad to see your videos again. Always enjoyed them. Sorry to hear about your mom for sure.
Thanks.. much appreciated.
Thank you
Thank you.
I know this is a 9 year old video but I just got into dry bulk and had a question..does your pto make a rattle sound and get REALLY loud after 800 rpm like something is going to break? I tried explaining it to our mechanic but I don't think he understands what I'm trying to explain to him. My trainers truck wasn't nearly as loud..maybe I'll take a video and show him.
The blower is extremely loud. The rattling could be caused by the drive shaft to the PTO. If I remember correctly it tended to rattle more at lower RPM. But it's been a few years. Honestly you really need to be wearing hearing protection while you're operating that blower. If you think something is wrong with it I would definitely try to have a mechanic look at it. Cuz if it breaks while you're out of facility then you're stuck not being able to unload. There are different types of ptos also and different types of blowers. So yours could be different than mine was
@@kens97sto171 thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to help. I wrote it up a few days ago and our mechanic just let me know that he replaced the gasket on the hot hose and moved a bracket that held the muffler, said he thinks once the blower gets going good it could cause the bracket to come in contact with the pto shaft..hopefully that fixes it cus I got a ton of my stuff in that truck and hate to slip seat with someone else.
@@MKultra209 No problem, his explanation of what was wrong seems plausible to me. Hopefully it fixed it. I always hated having to switch trucks also.
So where is this? Looks like maybe New Mexico?
West Texas..
