Do you fear the meta might revolve around Khan races? As you mentioned there are a multitude of ways to interact with him in the discard and skeithing him out a turn early can be scary. The game is still young, and everything is just theory at the moment, but the effect looks difficult to play around.

Great breakdown! Very cool that you're doing these videos. I think The Breadmaster is actually a must run, you can't deny the consistency that a tutor effect gives your deck - I do think they balanced it well by making it cost a discard 3 though.

3:15, it might be a way to handle if there's any special modifier cards like "if you where to put cards on your bottom the deck, put them on the top" or something

I think my biggest point against Soup Faerie being S+ tier is the 6 card restriction. With cards that are played in every deck like Harry and Blooplum and other strong early game effects that replace themselves, I found I have 6+ cards in hand quite often. I think she is incredibly powerful in aggro decks, but in decks that have at least two 5 cost cards, I don’t see her being played. Having said that, is there a reason you rated Naia so low considering its potential for being banned?

I wanna comment on the low rating of the equipment cards. they are actually really good having played a few games i found they can easily turn the tide in your favor

Note: Flaming Hot Dog does not actually "unfreeze" your frozen Neopet -- you would need to play it in response to the Freeze effect going onto the stack!

so what happns if i have the base 1 cost hotdog, can i play that bfore i o anything in training or prep? could i even do it before i exit draw phase? also does only the person with higher agility get the re roll?

I'm so grateful you've posted and elaborated this game with such clear detail. It brings back a lot of memories of collecting cards for Pokemon, Yugioh, and World of Warcraft for me - I hope this game takes off well and is successful. I'd be interested to watch you do more with Battledome in the future!

Oops - forgot to mention a few things but two to note: Food (after being played) goes to the Void [of your stomach] instead of Discard, and the maximum Neopet level is 5 (cannot have more than 5 Codestones attached to your Neopet)!

Red Codestones being for painted pets only is a good theory. I could also see them potentially adding an effect or a second stat boost to Reds, but perhaps they'll have level requirements? 🤔
