On trust One issue with Okarun is that he puts Momo (or likely anyone he forms attachments to) on a pedestal So i think it's shown here in the introduction, or we know Momo had terrible taste in her one prior boyfriend Yet to Okarun she couldn't do anything wrong, so Jiji has to be prefect - which sends Okarun into a depression; and he will keep having issues unless he learns to see Momo clearly as he can never be good enough to the goddess halo he gives Momo - and thus will keep having a anxiety and be depressed for not being good enough to her Which is bad for her, besides we want people that can see our flaws, yet still loves us, and help us overcome That said Okarun is wonderful and kind, and likely just needs to build confidence and a woman like Momo in his life (As Momo is great ofc, but like everyone else has bad sides: like picking the creep of an ex-boyfriend)
