    Dr. Roland Freisler was killed in an Allied bombing raid on February 3, 1945 in Berlin. By that time the Red Army was at the river Oder, a mere 70 kilometers east of the city.

    I have to believe that Chevrolet was pushing the ‘61 Biscayne model as an indirect competitor to the Falcon, because the Corvair was not doing well against Falcon in the sales race. And the conventional Chevy II would not be arriving until 1962. The Biscayne really was a bargain if you wanted to own a full-sized vehicle and didn’t mind having the base trim level. Sharp looking car even as the economy special!

    Apparently, when offered the options of committing suicide or going before the People’s Court, Erwin Rommel chose the Court, and informed Wilhelm Burgdorf and Ernst Maisel he would do so and not only face down “Raving” Roland as he was called, but wear his dress uniform and every medal he was awarded. The only thing that stopped him from doing this was when they informed him that if he chose suicide, he would be buried as a hero who succumbed to his injuries and his family he protected. Part of me wishes I could have seen that psychopath try and shout down Rommel and get told what he deserved by The Desert Fox.

    • @I_like_big_bombs
      @I_like_big_bombs 10 месяцев назад

      If the people heard about Rommel's trial, they probably would have sided with Rommel. It would have been a PR disaster. Stuff like that did get out in Germany at the time. They had a strong propaganda machine, but people would have heard.

    Roland Freisler's death is one of the examples that seems to confirm the existence of a higher power. He was at the Wannsee Conference, and the air raid that killed him was commanded by an American Jew. If that's not karma, at the very least, I don't know what is.

    Biscayne, Custom 500 and Fury 1. All for the practical families that didn’t need full wheel covers, armrests, carpet, air conditioning but on most cases, an AM radio and heater were expected. We were a 2 car family with a ‘63 Biscayne with AM radio 3 speed manual but with a 283! We also had a ‘62 Falcon which had a heater and AM radio. Both spartan vehicles for sure.

    Roland Freisler true warrior of National Socialism. No nonsense, no bs. The conspirators were living in a delusional fantasy thinking the Allie’s would’ve made peace with them had they succeeded with their coup. The goal of the Allie’s was always destruction of National Socialist Germany from the beginning. They openly declared that Poland did not matter and that peace was possible. They wanted regime change in Berlin and were willing to go to war to achieve that end. The same western playbook with Saddam, Ghaddafi, Assad and now with Putin. You don’t have to demand or take anything from them for them to declare war on you. All you have to do is be a regime of the people for the people and they will declare you an “authoritarian” regime.

While Germany was being bombed, this vile-mouthed madman died like a dog in the ruins and went to the eternal flames of hell. Just like the rabid doberman hitler monster whose corpse-carcass was melted by Brezhnev and thrown into a sewer-sewage in east bern. So this insane humanity got what they deserved. enemies!!!..
