2005 Ford Focus PCV valve & hose replacement and other PM shtuff #Focus
Performing preventive maintenance on my 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES. Replacing the PCV valve with hose, replacing all associated gaskets (off camera) while removing and inspecting intake manifold assembly. Removing the fuel injectors with the rail, inspecting, replacing packings (off camera), testing, cleaning and installing. Replacing the fuel filter. Rotated tires (off camera).
Oh... and rambling on with some mumbling.
Test drove with no leaks, no check engine light, drives like a top.

Performed a complete delete of the lifetime air filter assembly on my "Green Machine" 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES and installed a filter assembly from a Gen 2 Focus. Not perfect, but it works. Instructions on how I replaced the hood latch cable on my 2021 VW Atlas SEL. Researching online found this to be a common failure point. My installed cable was dated 2019. No corrosion was noted, so in my opinion, this may be a design flaw. I was not able to find any recalls or service bulletins. @@josettecanape9284 Forgot how much one Ulu can produce once cut into pieces. Had to take some to work.
Did any check engine light pop up for you? I tried this a couple days ago, test drove it around and after a few minutes I got a system too lean code. MAF sensor was cleaned and reading fine, but seemingly somewhere down the line it was getting in more air than the car was expecting.
@Evan-cr3oh So far so good for me. There is another video out there that mentions the different emission vehicles, SULEV, PZEV, LEVII. Not 100% percent sure, but it looks like that May make a difference. Thanks for watching.
