that tomb at 3:00 is the architect of the cementery and many of the city's stuff, the city was small af, old folks and families still all know each other by surname bcs town grew up a TON in 20years, but yeah u guesed it right nothing much 2 do, malls are outside downtown (where everything closes earlier bcs everyone there is "chill", even have longer rest/lunch hours than the rest of the country, blame the light hours haha)

You don't want to holiday in Joburg. Not a place for tourists. The Cape Province is safer, cleaner and prettier. Visit Mpumalanga Province. Also very beautiful but also big rural areas.

There are many great places here in South Africa, I would encourage you to stay the full length of your tourists visa before you leave.

Come visit the jewel of Cape Town...Brackenfell

Cape Town over Kloof Nek from Camps Bay is around 3 kms further than where you are walking and also that far from you as you stroll.

You needed to research more, especially on the food. Cape Town was just voted the best restaurants in the world. You literally passed so many places on your walk. Also , you have ask the pharmacist for sleep aids. You don’t need a prescription, but it’s behind the desk!

I always fight people whenever they talk about how unsafe SA is compared to their countries, but I have to say, within CPT it is relatively safe, but there are neighborhoods which is not safe, but they are far outside the CBD, and there is no reason for tourists to go there. Happy you had a great time in SA.

I 100% recommend renting a car for any tourist. South Africa is a driving country and not having a car limits you a lot.
