Magnificent Quilts ❤
Gorgeous Quilt (1st one). ❤
So glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much. I really enjoyed seeing these.
Thank you Lori! I really enjoyed seeing these!
The fish bowl in the Wedding Quilt always made me think of Matisse rather than chintz. Thanks, this was really fun to watch.
I'm literally speechless. I'm overcome. There are no words. This exhibit is pure joy for me. What a privilege it was to have this chance to see these works of art. Congratulations to the makers and to Cynthia, one of the makers, who also curated the display. and Thank you.
Here is the link to get the quilt pattern, I hope you'll join us in creating this beauty! www.quiltandtextilecollections.com/shop/patterns-kits
When will the quilts arrive and be on display Lori?
The quilts are currently at IQM, but they have their exhibition schedule set for the foreseeable future. It is up to them when they use them in an exhibition.
That is wonderful news! Thanks for the vlog! I'm really enjoying it.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you letting me know!
I promised a link to get the book on sale and it is below. Please note that I will refund the difference to give you the sale price. www.quiltandtextilecollections.com/shop/books
Love the Book idea.
We want to get this right, so thanks to Cynthia Collier for providing a correction! The quilt at the 14:35 mark is actually, "Antique Sampler" by Marian Woods. The complete title card can be found at the end of the video The last quilt in the presentation is "Big Sister" by Suzanne Louth and Quilted by Karen Kielmeyer. The title card for this quilt can be found at 15:09. We are so sorry that the two title cards got misplaced!
Please note that the title cards used at the Houston Quilt Festival with the name Suzanne Louth are misleading. Suzanne is the creator of the quilts and the name that follows is the quilter.
