Fish tank idols
Love these updates
Thank you! I enjoy making them
Yes they do
Can you make a video on a proper water change? Growing up I had a tank and 1000% wasn’t doing it right 😂 and now google has a bunch different ways
Yes good idea 👍🏼
Another great fish room tour ! Is it possible that the catfish could also be a madtom catfish ?
It’s a bullhead cat caught from a local lake
if import laws weren’t poo here i’d want summa dat pearl weed cos no shops sell it here now
I’m on my way!
Very nice definitely getting me excited to get back on the hobby
the puffer fish gives me the ick
You gave him the ick 😭
what the heck is ick? did he get rejected by a female and cursed?
Is a parasitic? And fish typically happens when they get stressed. I own about 35 fish tanks. This happens every once in awhile. It's actually quite easy to treat
Hey brother- cheers from my fish room channel in Chicago, where I'm a subscriber to yours! Let me ask you: what's the meaning of all those ID cards at bottom of goldfish pond? Gotta be a story there!
Heheh it started with my friend leaving his old school ID in my basement I put it in my pond as a joke, now everyone else sees it they add their own and it’s become a bit of a tradition 😂😂
@@rayquatics23 I LOVE that tradition! Makes your fishroom unique. PS: Just make sure important data doesn't show up on camera ;)
Another classic adventure, keen for more to come
A classic Rayquatics adventure just like season 1
Beautiful😊
Thank you Jeff!!
@@rayquatics23 very welcome!
@@rayquatics23 very welcome Ray!🙂👍🏻
Syngonium. The house plant is a Syngonium. And don't you forget 🔫
Bruh thank you my cousin knows all of houseplants and gave me that it just grew so I forgot what it was. Thanks for commenting!

@@rayquatics23thanks
Did I see a snail in your 40 gallon jungle tank? Is that possible? Don't they crawl out?
Oh you saw a snail it’s a mystery snail to answer your question yes he can but he don’t want too. (He definitely could in my opinion it’s the plants that act as a “natural lid” that makes the tank seem more enclosed to its inhabitants
Most underrated fish RUclipsr in 2024
Appreciate literally motivated to create more content now lol
@@rayquatics23 you should mate, I agree. As someone re creating a fish room I going for more your style of plants etc then the tanks and filters
@@ZigsAquatics good stuff man I am constantly evolving in how I keep as well love to show my progress with the world
Very cool man. I'm currently designing something similar. 3000 gallon above ground pool with a 300 gallon stock tank upflow bog filter. I think I'm going to add a box for my pump using a plastic trash can, and that'll serve as a diy skimmer filter type deal.
Amazing idea was considering it for mine, there’s room to upgrade what I did and i have to admit I definitely rushed it just to put fish in it. Glad you enjoyed it and more updates to come tank on brother.
Will you add substrate
Good question something im definitely considering gonna wait till it clears before I make a final choice. Still can’t decide between sand or gravel
@@rayquatics23 i added clay to mine with a catfish cave
Don’t use slate in an aquarium setting .
may i ask why?
Good stuff man! some medaka rice fish would be cool in the bog!
That would be cool definitely something to consider gotta build a grate to protect them from flowing into the pond tho
I love the green pool lol
Bog plants!
Theres a few more species of ludwigia native to america moght be a different species. I found some by my house and it looks much different than repensm
Amen to that not sure what species mine is either
How long you had your dojo?
3 years
What's the appeal of this? I can't imagine being able to enjoy viewing my fish in an ugly bright blue pool😅 where's the lid for predators? Plants and hides for cover? This is the lamest kind of fishkeeping
This is step 1 I will be turning this into a cheap ecosystem pond
@rayquatics23 apparently he does understand!
Put the eye of a giant squid in the pool
Tell me where I can find one and it’s done
Just stumbled across this. Cause I thought it was a good idea and I'm laughing my a** off. Because you wasted no time to throw fish in it. I think you skipped a few steps, but I can't wait to see the next video
That’s how we do it here we all the fish are still thriving and surprisingly growing I’ll upload the video of the filter in a few days be sure to check out my instagram for more updates on the pool
bro is swiming with his gold fish
Yes, yes I am
Hi..do you need sunlight?
I have a high power LED grow light as I am in my basement stuff like pothos can grow using normal room lights but sun definitely will Help
No water changes needed in my planted tank🎉
Wow looks awsome, A bit of mature inside.❤
Thank you Raymond for the wonderful camera ! ❤
I have 8 tanks that are all deep substrated full of plants. The thing is is that I bought all my plants or propagated them from tank to tank. A friend of mine told me I should come by her pond and see what she has. I went and found duckweed, hornwort, stem plants, and even something super close to Amazon swords. The “swords” look like a mirror copy as what’s sold in the pet stores but these seem to be just a little narrower and maybe about half a foot longer but they look exactly the same. I pulled about 10 of them up threw them in my ice chest that had a cold towel and took them home to plant them in my 10 gallon. The tank looks amazing and literally everything was free. I brought back a 5 gallon bucket that also had pond water full of little microfauna and put them in some of my tanks. It’s pretty incredible what you can find there in nature. I plan on starting a 75 gallon soon using solely with what I can find out there.
Cool, what state you in? Where are these plants from?
NY native (me and the plants)
Ray, Dude I love going out and returning home with natures bounty. I have of course subscribed. I have to admit your good looks can distracting. Your out look on our hobby is what will keep me following you. Thank you Ray, Fred from Gibsons BC Canada
