My favorite singer ❤
Saw Them at the Richland Roller Rink in the mid-60s. Usual fare was the Kingsmen, Sonics, Marilee and the Turnabouts, Paul Revere & the Raiders.... Them were very intimate, quiet and utterly hypnotic. Van Morrison did about an hour and half with his eyes closed the whole time. I have no idea how they landed in the middle of nowhere, in the desert, but I'm glad they did.

This is so worth watching Them a great band in their time and Van developing the intriguing person he has become through his music and anyway someone who can collaborate with the Chieftains Eric Clapton Cliff Richard Lonnie Donegan and Tom Jones must have something.

Know what I like most about VM? Ain’t his songwriting,,which is great at times Ain’t his singing, which is otherworldly unbelievable at times Ain’t his sax, harmonica, guitar or keyboards Ain’t even his coolest-man-on-Earth stage presence. It is his quiet courage. He ain’t arrogant or rude. He just makes his own decisions. Van is courageous.
Bill was a great promoter but he’s way out his element when he says Van’s is not a pure voice or a great voice??? Tripping over himself - go back to counting the box office please Bill…
