We need to be careful with Primeau, we can't just loose him for nothing and end up empty handed missing a spare goally.

He had an ordinary camp and did not shine, he should prove himself in the AHL and then maybe graduate to the NHL if he does better than others that is! 😊

Vancouver is unable to afford Petterson's demand of a cup, but habs can make them a contender in a trade! For example we have , M & M Matheson and Mailloux. Reinbacher, Engsfrom, Guhle, Harris, Arbor, Kovacevic, Hudson, Lidstrom, Savard, etc so we can afford to trade off 2 D and Anderson, and a pick and Peterson will have a contender and make Habs a contender as well. Lets say Barron and Harris and Anderson! and a pick or a prospect. Let me dream! finally that STAR PLAYER WE ALWAYS NEEDED and we put Vancouver in contention!😁

Jacob Fowler is MTL future The other guys are expendable In any particular order after this season Look at Montys 4 NHL seasons and I haven't given up on Cayden Primeau either

If he won’t renew, trade him

Keep Monty, keep De Smith, Trade Allan. 2.8 mil for two goalies that NEED to have break out seasons to have NHL careers. where as Allan is 3 mil + and under contract for a few years. Monty is still Developing, so is Caden and we got Fowler now as well. We are in NO rush to win a Stanly Cup so let the kids get their ice time and move the vets out, collect meaningful assets, don't be afraid to trade one or two when the time comes or if that sure thing Number 1 Goalie comes up on the trade block. till then Monty is the right move both to tank and to see how he develops.

One good season does not make a career....or a legend. Montembault still needs to win the first string status.
