During fight, I suggest you to dash backwards if you miss a blow and dash to the side if you land it The great majority's of easy combos are made by crawling and pressing light attack, which make a move that send the oponent to the sky where you can combo as long as he doesn't go below your character head. If it goes lower, just hit him with verticals to at least take some benefits
