Incredible transformation!
@@virginiablair3422 thanks so much 😁
$50
Another great job ! Love the lighter finish.
Thank you very much!
It's very inspiring. I love the dark color.
Thank you so much 😁
🤍👍beautiful
Thank you!
Those drawers have enough structure to support cinder blocks and lead pipe!
Taking the gingerbread off was instant gratification!
🤩
Beautiful!
Thanks 😁
I am not even done watching and I feel your pain undoing the ebonizing. I hate it when I have to undo a finish.
Love them!! Very different
Thanks so much 😁
Wow!
The top handles don’t look right on that piece. I would change them to knobs.
These already sold 3 days after listing
Nice work and they turned out 😊
Please SLOW DOWN. Hard to watch at such a fast speed. Otherwise beautiful job.
Noted! I edit all my own videos and usually speed up clips of me sanding and scraping because I find it extremely monotonous and if I didn’t it would be over an hour long video of me doing so. Maybe I can find a happy medium. Open to suggestions!
Gorgeous!!!!!! Your best nightstands so far!
Thank you so much!!😊😁
These two look way better than before, that's for sure. If it was up to me, I'd probably just bleach the lighter parts, to give it a tiny bit less contrast. But it goes without saying that these to look really modern now. I hope they'll sell well.
Thank you very much! 😁
The stain enhances the wood grain. The only change (additional) thing that I would do is to oil the inside of the drawers. Great job.
This is a very interesting transformation on old pine furniture. I love the drawer pulls and the finished product. Great job.
Glad you liked it! Thank you 😊
What market are you in that you garner $750?
Love them!
Thanks 😊
That is a very cool transformation. The ability to look at an old set of night stands and think, “I know what those could look like,” is truly impressive. Total respect over here. Excellent job.
Thank you so much 😁
There is nothing uglier than cheap, mass produced pine furniture. Until you got your talented hands on these 2 pieces. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bravo!
Wow, thank you! 😁😁
Very nice
Thank you!!
Very pretty, but I would have done the opposite, the top and bottom dark and the body the lighter but it turned out nice anyway.❤
That would have looked awful.
I love your creativity. I keep looking at them because something seems off for me. I think it’s an imbalance. Like all of the “happening” is in the middle. Maybe if the pulls weren’t so big. Is that it? Other than my weird focus I love how you took them from orange bulky to modern.
Looks absolutly amazing! Also, they seem to have quite a story behind them. Maybe the mom being caught of something?
Thanks so much! It’s definitely interesting to see what gets left behind in old furniture
Very nice. Great job❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Wow!!!! 😮🎉
🙏
Very nice, but it looks like a chest of drawers, not a dresser.

Gracias 😁
Looks really nice!! Would have done the same!!
Thank you so much!!! 😊
I'm in pain and this work makes me feel better! ❤❤❤
Aww I hope you feel better soon!
Very prettyyy
Thank you 😁
Natural beauty😊
What a gorgeous wood. The light almost whitish tone is sooo pretty. Personally prefer it over the darker tone
It’s solid maple 😁
@ goooorgeous
What was that spray stuff that removed the finish
Absolutely bea
It turned out beautiful. I really liked the end result. Like a lot.
Thank you very much 😁😁
Beautiful!!
Thank you 😊
Excellent! 🤩
Thanks so much 😁
What a good thing to use this oil. Whatever it is. I will look at your description and find out. Would i use it on mahagony? Bleached out first?
Rubio Monocoat in Smoke 5%. This is maple so it may look different on mahogany
Gorgeous ! ❤
Thanks 😊

lol it’s the truth!!! Thank you so much 😊
I think it should have been completely stripped and refinished. Although beautiful, I think there is somewhat of a disconnect between the color of the doors, drawers, and top. Just elated that you did not paint it though! Thanks!!
1999 doesn't make me feel old at all. I like the tall boy dresser anyway. It was a long process to get the old finish off. You made Plain Jane the Bell of the Ball.
It really was a process!! Thank you so much 😁
@15:16, Absolutely love that sink/wash basin with build in washboard! Gorgeous. And you did a great job with the piece as well. Impressed!!! 👍😁
Thank you so much 😊
What kind of wood is it? Is it solid or veneer? Nice work.
It’s solid maple with the exception of the two side panels that are maple veneer 😊
@artisan... It was really pretty done in the natural tone.
How refreshing that you chose not to stain it some ghastly dark, dark brown, almost black, as so many restorers do! Keeping it natural to best display the beauty of the wood is exactly right.
I think that can work in the right scenario, but when the wood grain is this beautiful it almost seems criminal to do so!
