It's rare when a video recommends 8 tools and all of the are actually useful. Great Video. Totally planning them to add to my daily workflow
Glad it was helpful!
Im using Gentoo with DWM and NeoVim as a Sys Admin. I code in Python for AI.
The best CLI file manager for me is clifm.
One comment: why root and sudo under root?
impressive! thanks, Bro
Glad you liked it!
pls provide tutorial for your fedora ricing
Nice content but you need to explain your DE first. Is it the Fedora sway spin or Fedora gnome with sway added by yourself. I would like to follow your configuration but just need to start the Fedora installation.
Yazi is by far the best CLI file manager
Mind blown. For a novice.. who has started using linux syslog grepping and scripting to collecting data from the network routers!! This is amazing !! Thanks
Glad it helped!
why vim is not saving the changes?
Yazi is great
This video is awesome! please make more.
Thank you for showing all these tools. Is there any good tool for cleaning up my Linux OS?
Great list. I prefer using Atuin, but fzf is likely more lightweight.
Great point!
i'm using all tools, except tmux, because using kitty, this a terminal emulator, with multiplex terminal including, any more benefits in tmux?
How to install that 'lsd' tool? I have tried with sudo apt install, but it doesn't work.
How do you make your fedora look like that
I clicked like button right after fedora shows. perfect.
Great job! Could you share your Fedora desktop environment settings? Thank you!
What do you use to render the animated character at the intro, is it ai?
Which linux distro are you using? And also make a video about customisation you made
bro just share your config file in /root/ path .vimrc .bashrc .zshrc and other
u should talk about ur vim config
Hello sir, this video is just amazing. How did u get fzf in a box, the same box was used for command line @1:36 and @00:58
Please share how your customized your desktop look.
i will make a video about it
Why not podman instead of docker?
Why use docker on Fedora? It has podman which has the similar api... Also why use vim in case vscode or any other gui editor is available ?
Thank you man for the video it is informative
Glad it was helpful!
You're making good videos, keep uploading more Linux-related contents and other topics
I will try my best
I use WSL2 on Windows 11, can I install Fedora on it and use this video of yours to configure it?
yes you can
No need to add external repos and install docker in fedora. It comes with podman (which is like docker on steroids)
Your fedora has a very nice theme. Is it the default? I'm considering change, and would like to have a environment like yours.
no it is not
Will you make a video on how to set up fedora? Or can you share how can it be replicated?
Arch not mentioned, I repeat, Arch not mentioned! We'll get 'em next toime
never use vim, just nano to useful
What tiling window manager do you use or suggest?
As a (new) linux user, I can confirm this is useful
Awesome, thanks!. Subscribed.
i prefer linux mint, because is a chill distro
What window manager you use?
Swaywm
Why not recommend neovim as opposed to just vim?
Yes I will make a video about Neovim
hello, I'm from Algeria, thanks for the explanations I had problems in rebasing and merging while working in a team on netbeans IDE since I didn't know the deference between them, thank you again!
Can you share your sway wm dotfiles??
Exceptional content with excellent production quality. Keep it up.
Much appreciated!
Probably, there is a mistake in in the docker set-up. After adding docker to USER, you have also to run: sudo chmod 666 /var/run/docker.sock to get the full permission to run docker. At least this in Fedora 41.
I would rather use Ubuntu or PopOS but Fedora, a Red Hat based distro of Linux is great as well. Also VSCode >>>> VIM
Yes You can
Excellent video ! Could you delve deeper into the topic of Docker by discussing security considerations and its use in rootless mode ?
I will
Great work! Keep it up ❤
Thank you! Will do!
Heyy Siddharth from India and thank you for explaining git in an efficient manner. I have a doubt will it cover most of the things of linux and devops? If yes then thank you
Love this
Great video! Thanks a lot! You desktop set up is amazing, please post a video to explain in detail! Thanks!
Thanks, will do!
