I saved just before this mission. As soon as I heard he had lines for Neve, Harding, and Bellara I reloaded my last save and waited till I got everyone 😅 was totally worth it 😂. Thanks for uploading so I can rehear it 😊

OOOOOH Jesus. I can tell he'd exhaust me. I like conversations, but like conversations that go somewhere. I'll listen if you feel like rambling to fill in the quiet. Just don't have those conversations where I have respond. Solas was fun to talk to, when he was done he was done there were no little add ons of nothing that isn't obvious. this guy is exhausting. In real life, I would be like "uh huh......uh huh......I suppose so....oh not starbu--*siiiiigh* ok.....uh huh....uh huh...No I don't want anything. Yes, I'm sure, no I'm serio-I can't eat the cake I have Celiac--omg. Oooooooh great your cousin is here. Dear god someone save me." I genuinely think there is no one in this game I could have a romance with. I thought the hot guy would have the most work put into his character.

I like that he's got lines for Emmrich and Taash. Such a sweetheart. I love that Lucanis notes your favorite drink etc (he's my favorite romance), however this quest also cements the fact that Rook is overlooked and sidelined by the rest of the Veilguard very often. Lucanis buys gifts for everyone but you (and like in the video, you can buy him a gift) and in codex entries it's clear that the group is bonding without Rook as we don't even get to participate in or reference book club, camping, shopping with the team etc, meaning Rook was not present. Out of all our DA protagonists, Rook has the weakest connection/relationship with their companions.

Thanks for sharing this! I wondered whether he'd get more things for more companions, but I got impatient lol. I've a compulsion to do any side quests as soon as I can before even touching main ones.

My actual answer would be simple. You have died multiple times and almost lost the weave and your death caused the spell plague and more. One death required your suicide to avoid losing the weave and the other was committed by a god slaying weapon. For the sake of all existence i am most certainly not leaving the shadowfell equivalent of the weave in your hands. Your past failures and position all make you a prime target amongst Gods. I will be absorbing the karsite weave after which i will disperse myself as an equivalent mirror to you. As dictated by the over god all balance must be kept. So as the holder and mistress of the material weave you cannot also hold the karsite weave.

Let's be honest. It is very hard to top "I slept with a goddess."

If I were to do a Gale run, this is the ending I would go with - give the b*tch what she wanted and cut ties entirely. It really is the best ending for Gale - to still have access to the weave, but not have to see Mystra ever again.
