I remember going on hyperia a few months after it came out, 4 hours after I went on the ride I couldn’t fall asleep because of the amount of adrenaline I had in my body!

Just come back from 2 days at the park and got 3 rides on voltron at different times of the day (one first thing, one just before closing time, one sometime in the afternoon, all rides in right wing seat rows 2/3). I watched too many vlogs before visiting and was convinced that it was going to be really rough but I have to say that I did not notice anything particularly uncomfortable about it during my rides or anything that I would describe as an excessive rattle compared to the other major coasters at the park. Maybe it is still luck with which trains/seats you get. It is an intense ride for sure and does not really have any dead spots but for me that was just due to the relentless layout rather than any roughness with the trains/track. My favourite aspects of the ride were actually the hangtime moments after the launch and during the stall where you feel like you are going to fall out. My main criticism would be that it is not that re-rideable due to the length and intensity. I never wanted to immeditiately run back round to the queue when I got off it (whereas when I went to Energylandia I think I did Zadra 10 times in one day with no ill effects). But then I believe Mack wanted to build an intense coaster to fill that gap in their line up so I guess that intensity is by design. I think on balance it was the best coaster in the park for me based on the overall experience. But then I also got a closing time ride on Wodan which was completely unhinged, a ride on Silver Star where I managed to stop the restraint clicking down during the ride and got amazing airtime and I still can't get enough of that last roll on Blue Fire. It was definitely better than Toutatis which I thought was overhyped and didn't really do much. I think I would still put it behind Zadra though, even though Zadra is shorter it was more re-rideable and had such perfect speed, pacing and variety of elements/forces whereas Voltron was maybe too much of a good thing in places.

Watch that opinion completely fumble after a warmed up evening ride. Biggest mistake I made judging it off a morning ride. Now 4 evening rides after I can happily say that this is my number 4 atm. I too have only done coasters in Europe ( and only half of them probably). But this tops rth for me since the spinning doesnt do that much for me and thrill, airtime and layout wise this just takes it. Airtime is just incredible after warming up. Gotta say cant even take that review that serious since I know what a difference the time of day makes, specially on some coasters. For example Zadra barely beat geforce for me after my morning ride but even after the afternoon ride it is so far ahead that its probably forever my number one^^ Same with Voltron, specially if you compare 9 am rides to 6 pm rides directly. This plays in the same ballpark as Hyperion and Untamed (my number 2 and 3 which I just barely prefer over this). But Voltron rather comfortably beats the likes of rth, Geforce, Taron and Kondaa. The airtime you get in an evening ride is comparable to and rmc or prime intamin. Allthough nothing quite touches the feeling of a warmed up rmc but yeah. Any coaster that wants to beat this has a hell of a job to do. If you are nlt absolutely amazed you probably missed out on an evening ride and that would be a shame is all Im sayin^^

Skyrush opening the restraints on the brake run is a holdover from the old restraints that used to really crush your thighs. They would open them up so you're not sitting waiting for the slow ops with the lap bar cutting off the circulation to your legs
