Hey guys today we are doing the rear brakes on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, its a simple job you can use common tools but if your vehicle is from the north where they use salt on the roads during the winter you may need to use a breaker bar. Great video I would have not succeed without this video. Thank you
Do I need to change the blower motor if my climate controls not turning on ?
Great video. I have a tip. Remove the kick panel (one clip, super easy), then pull the carpet back. Makes the job much easier.
Thank you, mate!
Thanks a lot mate ! Are you able to do a quick video on how to replace the filter you were talking about?
In some cases, there is no need to bleed the brakes if you Just compress the brake caliper and are pushing the piston back in. unless you open up the bleeder screw.. then yeah im with it.
No lube or nothing on the pad clips? Wow
Shade tree mechanic! Great job
I will try this one, thanks for the video. Please pray for me that I don't break anything or blow up my car.
Nice thanks
can the blower motor contribute to shutting off of the whole AC display and cooling fans running continuously?
Tq
Hey so I followed the video, and now I’ve got a loud vibrating noise. could it be imbalanced? I installed it wrong? Definitely need help it’s vibrating off the glove box super loud
To everybody watching this that is not the way to compress your piston with a prybar unless you want to chip a piece of it take it out put your old brake pad against it and squeeze it with some channel locks lol idiots
Keyboard Tech, if you can jamb a flathead driver in the rotor and use the caliper for leverage, there's no chipping. Idk what you're doing 😂
You couldn't have done this video any better. You just saved me probably 300 dollars or more. Dealer wanted 250 for the blower. Advanced Auto Parts wanted 107 dollars. I took a risk and ordered my first time from Rock Auto parts for $57 dollars with tax included. Just watched your video and installed myself. Thank you again. Definitely got a LIKE from me 👍
Best video on this thanks for saving me anguish and money
Another reason to love VW. They made this job relatively easy comparing to some other cars.
Thank you! My motor died and after watching your video, I decided to try fixing it myself. Got the replacement part from amazon and i just finished installing it. Definitely the hardest part (if you could call it that) is sliding the original out.
Hey I just bought a 2012 vw jette 2.5 se and the heat was working great then all of a sudden stopped. When I turn it on I can kinda hear something inside the dash but heat/ac is not blowing. Would this be the blower motor? Or just a fuse blown? Never owned a VW so idk much about them. Also would this be in the same place as the 2011 you did? Thank you!
It should be I believe the body didn't change until 2015 so should be the same. And if your not getting any flow out the vents and you just here something rattling in the dash I would check the blower motor but also if you haven't replaced the cabin air filter I would recommend replacing that as well because a clogged filter could damage the new blower motor
Great video. Thanks!
Glad it helped
This was hands down the easiest video to follow
Thank you!!!
I'm glad it helped I thought I was the only one who had this problem
Dude thank you so much !!! I’m so broke but this helped me!!
2:54 😂😂😂
or p
I just had to do this because a piece of paper had fallen into my fan and was causing noise. Your tip on how to slip the motor in and out of the tight spot was super helpful.
I think that I have to do it as well for the same reason.
Man Im glad it helped out
