DIY foot peg tie down system for dirtbikes
Here's my take on a DIY foot peg tie down system for your bikes to eliminate straps and avoid blowing out your fork seals. This is my first attempt at a how to/DIY video, so be sure to give me some feedback let me know what we can improve on. Also, I sped the video up most of the way through to avoid unnecessary time wasted. Enjoy!

Jiu jitsu comeback at AGF Birmingham

I had a rough start during this tournament at AGF Birmingham, AL and lost my first 2 matches. Although I got in my head a bit, I kept pushing and came out on top in my next bracket. Enjoy some highlight clips from my matches! #jiujitsu #tournament #nevergiveup #comeback #bjj #bjjlifestyle #cobra #CobraBJJ
I like it! I also use foot-peg tie-downs on two Surrons. However, I use bolts on a bikes/only small trailer. I lift the bike up, dropping the footpegs over the bolts that stick up from floor, "threading" the foot pegs. I then tighten a nut with a quick shot of the power tool. My theory was the bolts are slightly less prone to movement than a chain? Maybe, maybe not! But yes, the bolts take up space on the trailer, and I need to remove them if I am using the trailer for something else.
Bolts would work fine, I'm sure. This method is working great for us. The movement isn't an issue at all. They will move around a bit if you're rough enough. But as long as you have a secure connection at both ends of the chain, it's a non issue. Bolts seem like they would be more of a headache to deal with, but I don't have personal experience with them in this application.
safety first! love the grinder action without glasses.ha ha
Basically if you ever work in a welding or fabrication shop or eve on the pipeline, as long as your by welders, they will yell at you fir every safety guideline known to man kind but-if you point out one of theirs it usually isn’t as serious as when you did the exact same thing 20 mins eariler 😂
I was just about to pull the trigger on a $200 set of Moto Cinch for my son's CRF110....YOU SAVED ME! Thank you!
Awesome! Hope it works as well for you as it still is for us!
I built them and they are awesome! THANK YOU @@RollinWithTheBoys
Nice. I also use a very similar method for two bikes.
If you can get fast on this track. You will be faster anywhere else.haha
I was there today maybe we should ride together sometime
Headed to good ole Harbor Freight
How has it worked out so far?
Still working great. I have been loading 3 bikes at a time.
I started using this method also. But use carabiners on the foot pegs. Also used the Saftey Squints method while cutting my chains. 😂. Cool vid
Thanks! Squint mode works well for me, most of the time. 😂
