Просмотров 1,8 тыс.5 лет назад
The marina finally turned on the water bubblers for the winter liveaboard dock. These things are awesome! No way for water to freeze....

It was beautiful out there today. 75 degrees but very windy. Sustained winds of 15-20 knots, with higher gusts every few minutes. Very choppy, very windy and VERY FUN for late October!

Here's my new to me boat. Lots of fun....and learning.
25' C Dory Cruiser(Boston, Ma)

The kickoff of my 2017 season at my new full service marina. Last year I came in later in the season and was in a less than ideal situation at a different marina; there was huge issues with the current, tides and a low bridge clearance. This year I'm at an awesome spot.
Very nice boat

This guy "South of Heaven".... Answered some pretty nasty comments in the most polite manner EVER on RUclips.. Great boat. I was a 22' guy..... but this clip has changed my dreams.... 25' it is. Thanks.
Great boast...video needs major editing.
Fritz, my video needs editing?? You spelled boat "boast". Be kind.
It’s so small
Thank you!
Why are they running radar tied to a dock?
For the video radar spinning looks sick
The unit is overkill; at 6 feet the horizon is about 3 miles.
That’s my dream… right there…
Make it a reality! They're not that expensive
@@southofheaven7060 I sure hope so. may I ask, how much did it cost?
@@blu6593 I bought it used for around $50k. You can probably find them depending on condition and how they're equipped for $40- 60k
@@southofheaven7060 nice! That’s not bad at all. I’m just going to have to look for one that’s right for me!
Thats a ridiculous radar for a 25' trailer boat. Microwaving everyone walking on the dock or fore/aft deck when its scanning.
Modern radars do not emit harmful radiation like old ones did. They havent for the last 10 years,
Dude! They don’t exactly need navigation lights either! They’re turning on everything to show off the boat for the video. Relax!
Would like to know what captains chair that is. Have a 31 that could use that.
Would like to have heard something about the boat
What?
@@southofheaven7060 how much new? Max weight capacity? Size or rear area, is it a semi v hull? Does it have a water tank?
@@mrthomaslaux1 New price: Maybe $125k Weight capacity: 6 ppl or so Cockpit size: 3 by 5 feet Water tank: Yes. I forgot but around 25 gallons or so Don't quote me on all these figures. Go on the C Dory site or go to the C brats forum
Would like to have heard something about the boat
Exactly what I was thinking.
Fuck yea mate
How much do these run??
What? The bubblers or the boat? The bubblers were installer by the marina but I don't think they are too expensive. The boat is around $75k or so.
Great boat
i love it
I need a boaterhome. Something that will suit for the water (me) and a campground (wife). I was looking at Adventure Craft 28’s, which I assume are no longer made, but then I stumbled onto these. These are real boats, and I’m guessing priced accordingly. The Adventure Craft looks fine for small water, but I want something I can put in the ocean should the opportunity arise.
I love these Dory’s, but without an enclosed head/shower, it’s a deal breaker for the wifey. I see this model has it. Sweet. If I may inquire, what might I expect to pay for one of these gems?
New: $100k Used: $40k to 60k depending on the year and condition. They are great boats. Go to Cbrats.com
Get a Mira 23
Forget about the storage, show the Helm, wheelhouse, salon space, not so many close-ups show the space...
Too late now....That boat is long gone
Great place for the TV in the main cabin. How did you mount it on the wall and run the power?
How's it ride in N.E. waters?
C Dorys are great boats. Safe and solid. However they are not fast boats.....when conditions get rough you'll need to slow down considerably. The hull bottom is very flat, especially aft. That is good for stability but not for holding speed in big seas.
@@southofheaven7060 Thats what I was worried about... would you buy it again?
I'd definitely buy one again. The only reason why I sold was because I moved up in size. If you are interested in C Dorys then join the C Brats website. Lots of good info over there.
Beautiful boat, I can truly appreciate the amount of work you put into it. Nice job.
Thanks
Very cool!
Saw your posts on the Hull truth forum and wanted to follow-up, glad to see you are living your best life. Hope everything is well!
How fast were you running there?
I forget. Maybe 12 knots or so?
That’s got to be the nicest little trawler I’ve ever seen! Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!!
lovely boat!
nice vidio
Unique Video, Creepy music
FOCUS!!!
Sweet video, keep 'em coming, what is top speed with the Suzuki?
My WOT was in the low 30 knots, IIRC. I sold the boat last summer, can't remember.
@@southofheaven7060 how much you ell it for ? Thanks
Hi where did you see it specifically
navigation lights,P/S are very badly positioned
I guess you are a naval architect and know more than the factory engineers, right?
The 360 degree white light was fine before radar and rear tarp made it 180
And radar is on why?
There were Japanese Zero’s spotted earlier in the day. Just trying to stay safe.
@Island Mike yes because boston cream donuts are superior to the rest.
