@@AmariRecords doesn’t really make sense as a concept album considering he doesn’t actually kill slim shady.. also I feel like Eminem has a lot of trauma to work through, and seems to perpetuate this cycle of abuse by attempting to annoy people through his music. Some decent tracks but not a great project

@@callumstephen5596 whether or not Shady is dead is mystery until Em confirms the true outcome but how does it not work as a concept album? The first 13 tracks are clearly all intertwined. And then we get a perspective shift to Marshall after Shady’s death where he covers more serious and personal topics.

@@Yugoslav1918 I strongly disagree. Tracks 1-13 we see a full story beginning with Shady’s renaissance, ending with his demise. The lyrical content is meant to be satire, with Em mocking people who genuinely have these views, using Shady to show how outdated both he, and those views are. There’s little idiosyncrasies within these first 13 tracks like the alarm clock going off and Marshall repeatedly waking up, believing that everything going on is just a dream, until at the end of Guilty Conscious 2 we realise it isn’t when Paul gets angry at Marshall. Then we get a perspective switch to Marshall for the rest of the album, talking on more serious subjects such as his family, addiction and legacy.

@@AmariRecords first song is great but I don’t see any wordplay that is phenomal like his earlier record . Satire is just an excuse for him to be rapping bad . I get why he did Houdini but it comes off as corny . What u said about addiction , family and legacy is the same repetition that I get sick off even when he doesn’t change to way he writes . Pusha t for example - he talks about cocaine but he makes it fresh . Same destination different journey. The sound is different in each album . Pusha t hasn’t reached the pen he once had during the clips but he evolved his artistry and energy because of a mentor - Kanye . You can see Eminem has yes men and he doesn’t want to mentored or tutored to something that is out of his comfort zone . TDOSS beats are better than his last 3 .

@@Yugoslav1918 I feel Em doing a full concept album is going outside his comfort zone. We haven’t seen that since Relapse. And I strongly disagree with you about a lack of great rapping, just look at his verses on songs like Fuel, Lucifer and Renaissance as you said.

@@AmariRecords i like that he did a concept album but for me the execution wasn’t great . Relapse did it better . Everything else after the first record is just dull , uninspiring . Being slim shady is his comfort zone . I got nothing from this album at all . Just name dropping and Talking about gen z cancel culture shouldnt even be mentioned because he isn’t the best rapper now or in his prime . Maybe I’m just old for Eminem .

It was kind of teased but the projects I spoke about are all confirmed and have been spoken about on multiple occasions, but with that being said I do think we get it eventually
