It is also made complex but in reality it is just more broken down in parts, and every part of the process of mastering Nen has a name. "Ten" (Body language, martial postures), "Zetsu" (mental or verbal expression), "Ren" (intention), "Hatsu" (action). This would technically not even need a name or a certain well explained function, yet they do! All of these, in other anime with similar magic systems and especially in shonen, are not taken apart in such manner, they are just shown from the, thoughts, language, behaviour, special effects that surround a character's scene. And after these there is all the actually complex stuff like types of Nen users, conditions, contracts and all that. Fascinating.
