How would you describe a continuity "issue" where a reaction occurs before the action?

@@OneMinuteMovieMistake First, you don't necessarily have to look in the direction of something to see it coming at your face. Due to its structure, the eye also perceives objects other than what you focus on to see. Secondly, the brain shows split-second automatic defense reactions, which we call "reflexes", against environmental actions that it perceives as dangerous. The weird thing is, it does this without you asking. For example, Tell a group of people that you will pretend to throw a tennis ball at their face, but you won't actually throw it. Then pretend to throw the ball from close range. Even though they know the ball won't hit their face, some of them will instinctively closs their eyes. Which is extremely natural. Therefore, you can not call this reflex as a movie mistake, which takes place in less than a second.
