What's your setup? I want to try this game but I want to know if it's a big investment or not
Just to play is not that big of an investment. The game is like 20 dollars or something and you can get it from steam for PC and it can be played without a VR setup with a webcam used for tracking. Now this wont be nearly as good tracking quality as you see me having on the video, but it should still be very playable. Also I believe hand notes are only supported with VR at the moment. If you got a VR headset you can get it for Quest2/3 in the Meta store and again Steam for PC VR. You can strap your controllers on your feet to play they also sell these straps that are designed to hold the controllers comfortably in your feet when playing and they are fairly cheap. For my setup it starts to become quite the investment, especially if starting from nothing. I use Valve Index VR with 3x Vive 3.0 trackers for fullbody tracking and the avatar. The 3x Vive trackers can set you back 300-500 dollars in total and also if not using Valve index then you would still need usually at least 2x Basestations which are like 150+ dollars each. So for a similar setup that I have its going to cost 1000-1500 dollars + a decent PC. There is also a mobile version coming out soon (I tried the beta and it played surprisingly well) I recommend checking out and asking questions in the Dance Dash discord, they have a very active staff team and a community: discord.gg/WJG7Wyrz

What is the mod that allows you to modify the sound of breaking cubes?
The one I use is called "HitSoundChanger". Sounds need to be manually placed within a folder the mod creates. You can find hitsounds that are ready for use at Beat Saber Modding Group discord channel. Hope this helps :)
