Breaking Benjamin - Breath (Guitar Cover)
Today’s cover is of the mighty Breaking Benjamin. These guys are from roughly 45mins away from where I grew up in PA, so showing some hometown pride here! I remember when this song became popular and I would listen to this everyday on the bus to school. This song was really fun to play and continued to push me to get more comfortable swapping between lead and rhythm parts. This is not 100% accurate, as I am just having fun and learned mostly from ear.

Great video! I’m in line for one of these through Sweetwater. Love the specs Gibson put out on them, including the color. I’m partial to speed knobs, but I can see why they didn’t use witch hat knobs on it. Very modern aesthetics!
I’m actually returning mine. I wanted to love it but it honestly feels like an epiphone to me. Not that it’s a bad thing but not what I’m looking for. I also found the 70s pickups really muddy
@@VincentFragnito They’re supposedly hotter pickups, not vintage by any means. They need backed off to clean up is what I’m gathering. I can understand!

@@VincentFragnito I purchased this 2 weeks ago. I really don't feel like it feels like and epiphone. I purchased the epiphone prophecy which had to be returned for dead frets. Probably a one off i am sure.

I agree about the Axis. I owned one of the first ones, and they are identical to this. Sold it because of the lack of power. No one talks about the Axis longboard Hihat stand. It´s amazing. Feather light, but sturdy, and just as smooth as my DW 9000 hihat stand. Guess which one of them gets carried around on gigs.

Recently I bought an Axis AL 2 with sonic hammers but It feels very heavy or very weak to respond when I pull down the springs. I heard that sonic hammers sucks
I hated the sonic hammers as well so i just put iron cobra beaters on my axis pedals
What you take on chain vs solid barring shaft. I looking buying one of these pedals and just what to get some inside comments first
I don't have these specific pedals, but I've had DW 3000 and now I have the direct drive Intruder pedals. While I could tell that my intruders are definitely heavier pedals than the 3000s, the actual reaction between me playing and the beater striking was a one to one thing, but it was very unforgiving when I messed up. The chains on the 3000 pedals did have a slight delay at times, but I feel it allowed me to cover up some mistakes I made. Obviously these two pedals are the top of the line pedals and mine aren't haha, but the difference between direct drive and chain shafts should be similar.

I have the 9000 and it's been fatiguing me. Think the speed cobra will be a lil easier on my muscles?
I got the axis a-21's and i also have that sound at the heel of the footboard. like you said it doesnt affect the playing or feel. it seems to be the internal rod or screws that hold the bearings in the heel together that slide side to side. Guess its just a common Axis thing.
why is this a luke holland rip of? if u mean the new kit, u are wrong. This guy git his snare in 2012, and luke got hes new kit in 2013 :p
I own the axis longboards and the speedcobra . The speedcobra is 20 times better than the axis . Is a bit faster , but it's more powerfull. And the feel of it it's incredible you play the drum not the pedal .The quality of the speedcobra is far superior to the axis or the dw 9000's . The axis longboards are pedals that need attention and lubrication to work great , but not the speedcobra , I play it 5 hours a day for 2 years now , it feels great and I never lubricated it . It's indestructable :)

i have the Axis A21 Vector double. whole different animal than the standard Axis pedal you have there. I do plan on getting another pedal though and it probably be the new 9000 upgraded pedal so i have a pedal to match my DW kit and for practice at home. The Axis i keep on the kit at rehearsal studio. listened to your band and its very good. wish you good success.

Aha I see! But construction wise the speed cobras are great, and superb feeling to. Cobras seem to be a moore allround bike, and the axis the racebike?
If you want more punch then get a heavier beater. I bought the pedal today and for the price it is wicked. And if you want to go even faster. Buy a direct drive for speed cobra.
