News to Share About Jaewon
Jaewon was in a major car accident this past week. He broke his spine, has received surgery and has been in the hospital recovering ever since. We were set to go to South Korea next week to celebrate our marriage with his side of the family. Posting this to share, ask for prayers and positive vibes as well as share a gofundme i created on his behalf for the enormous medical fees we are expecting to receive along with any charges we get to change or cancel our wedding. Thank you.

From watching Korean dramas there is no such thing as casual dating. After several dates you become exclusive. Usually the parents meet and if both approve you must get married. Some marriages are arranged by the parents and the couple has no choice.

Fantastic video! In most cases, the reason for unsatisfactory results of learning a foreign language is a loss of interest in the student, or you have stopped at some stage of their training and began to "stomp in one place. Thus, the effort and time you have spent in the absence of new techniques will not allow progress in mastering the language. For example, if you spend your time and effort learning the alphabet for months on end, you will not learn to read, write, speak and understand the spoken and written language. Yuriy Ivantsiv in his book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" writes that you should not selectively stop at one thing, and try to gradually move forward, without skipping anything and not jumping, developing all the necessary language skills for you proportionally. Only then will you get effective results. In your strategy for learning any information for you, including a foreign language, you should adhere to the following principle: you made a breakthrough - mastered the new information, then you need to take the time to consolidate the material and bring it to automaticity. The next step - learn new material and master it, and so on. "There are no secrets to success. It's the result of good preparation, hard work, and learning from your mistakes." Colin Powell. Many thanks to the author of the channel for the tremendous work in creating the instructional video. Thanks to such helpful videos, we have rapid progress in language learning.

Just watched this video and only saw your page because of tiktok. I have to say you have helped me so much. I’m learning Korean as well and I’ve felt like I’ve hit a brick wall and at that stage where I feel like everything I’m taking in is going straight out my head. I’m also feeling like my schedule and how I learn Korean isn’t right. But I’m watching all your videos on your page and you make it look so simple !! So thank you for putting this content out there

Someone pls heeeelp🫠! I am a beginner looking for more structured curriculum and I've seen 90 Day Korean and and Talk to Me In Korean come up a lot. I really like TTMIK's structure but I've heard some ppl say some of the lessons aren't necessary and it isn't practical while 90 Day Korean offers lessons with more real life application. Which is actually better?

Please slow down when speaking and try to avoid “um”. I train people for public speaking so I’m not trying to mock you, I just wanted to point out that when speaking, if you slow down it gives your brain a chance to catch up and then you’ll naturally drop the “um”.
