Can use IC card to pay fee?
Thank you for making this video!
My pleasure!
great video. How would you rate the food quality and customer service. Did you check in a bag. Were they strict with the checked and carry on baggage weight
The food quality is fine (hot and good enough taste) although I preferred the kid's meal :). The ground and inflight service is good. For example, when I have an issue with AV system, the flight attendence actively helped me to resolved it. Yes, I checked in baggage. For economy, checked in baggage is limited to 23 kg per piece and cabin baggage is 7kg for the total weight of 1 peice and small item. All airelines are strict with checked in baggage weight (based on my experience), but usually, they are a little bit more relax on cabin baggage as long as it is not oversized. (I had not been weighted on cabin baggage unlike those budget airline which I am going to review.) Please see flights.cathaypacific.com/en_HK/baggage/baggage-calculator.html for more Cathay Pacific baggage detail.
You mean A350-900?
It is Airbus A330-300. They may alternate the flight type on the flying date, but it is stated Airbus A330-300 when I booked.
@@DimSumLoveTravel It is an aircraft change, the aircraft in the video is an Airbus A350-900.
Thank you for letting me know!
Is it better to take a Uber or Taxi as a first time tourist? The trains really seem complicated 😂 I’ll be visiting Tokyo in 2 weeks
It is really not that complicated. You should download NAVITIME (or other Japan rail mobile app) and give it a try. It can search route based on your departure and destination. It will provide detail routing including platform information and train timing. In my opinion, Uber and Taxi is a convenience but more expensive option. In addition, language barrier may be a problem. If you are taking taxi, it will be better to write down the destination address in Japanese in advance.
I think it is too late for this comment but never take taxi or uber in japan
@ yes I’m back home now, i used the taxis lmao 😂
@@93hothead Why not ? I am not expected to walk myself to places bro, I want to be driven.
Last week I stay there for 5 day and a fun trip to Tokyo and I was fun sadly I going home😢
I know how you feel. I don't want to come back too...
how much was the resort fee?
It was SGD 262.42 per night.
hi what is the difference between the 2 APA hotels in you video? is your hotel much nearer to the godzilla?
The only difference is to make you confuse (I get into the wrong hotel at the first try). Haha.. There are a few APA hotels around the area. My APA hotel are closer to Godzilla Shinjuku through.
This video is very helpful for navigating the bus stations. If I take the bus from either Shinjuku or Tokyo Station, I can still take any bus back to Tokyo, right? For example, if I depart from Shinjuku but on the way back, I can take the bus to Tokyo Station, right? Are the bus stations in the outlet easily identifiable based on the destination (Tokyo Sta, Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc.)? Thanks.
Correct. In fact, when I took these video, I took the bus from Shinjuku and return at Tokyo station. Just make sure you queue at the correct queue at Mitsui Outlet Park. They share the same bus stop at Mitusi Outlet Park, however, there are sign stating which queue are going to which station.
How far is it from Shinjuku station?
From Shinjuku JR station, you may need to walk 15 minutes, cutting across Kabukicho.
I stayed there during New York Fashion Week. The best, from staff to the vibe. Love this place. Thank you for posting.
So cool!
Hi, I don't think there's an escalator at Higashi Shinjuku station that comes to street level. I have two luggages. That's why I am planning to come via Shin Okubo station to this hotel.
Good point!
is navigating the stations easier than it looks? lol
LOL... If you follow the path, it is not that difficult.
The see through glass in the bathroom can close?
Yes. It can be close.
How do you close it
@@EoRoblox There are button inside the toilet for you to open and close the window blind.
Out of budget, too expensive haha
I agreed. There are many more options for casual travels.
How is the bed? I have read many people complaining about APA beds being too hard and difficult to sleep on
Bed is very subjective to person, but, I feel it is a normal bed for a hotel. It is not too soft or too hard. I had been to more expensive hotel that provide overly soft or hard bed.
May I know what is the highest floor of this hotel?
I am not 100% sure, but at least, it should have 40th floors.
Thank you for the wonderful video. How long will you be here in America? There are many places and events here in America who have that backpack rule. They are either not allowed or they check the contents before you enter. It is mainly to ensure that certain prohibited items are not brought into the location.
Thanks for the tips!
@@DimSumLoveTravel you're welcome. Hope you are enjoying your time here. My son and I look forward to more videos.
We book it in early bird 3mth before we go, a family room for 4 people with 2 queen size bed only $1800sgd/10days. Included tax.
SGD $180 per night is a good deal for this hotel.
Hi how about the surrounding area of the hotels? Heard can be jam packed with ppls at the subway n its surrounding walk way too...thks
During my 10 days stays in this hotel, it is not jam packed in either the shopping center or the MTR station. In fact, I found very convenience to have a shopping mall and MTR station just below the hotel. Of course, there will be more people during weekend but it is definitely not the worst I have seen in Hong Kong.
May i know what is the room type for this? The layout seems different from their website thank u!
This was a studio executive king room.
thank you so much 😊
You're welcome 😊
Beautiful Hong Kong. I wish I travel there sometime
It really is! And you should! :)
Is there a hair dryer here?
Yes, there is. It is attached in the toilet.
does the kitchen provide things like pans and spatulas for cooking?
For my room, yes. It has pans and spatulas. It has cooking pots too.
Farm Tomita and Shikisai Hill any difference?
There are some difference between Farm Tomita and Shikisai Hill Shikisai Hill: 1) During my visit, I do not see any lavendar. They grows Scarlet Sage, not exactly lavendar (But I am not a flower expert either). 2) It is a larger farm where you could drive Buggies and cart or sit at tractor bus around the farm. 3) You can try lavendar ice cream here, but lunch choices are limited. 4) You can see Alpaca at the Alpaca farm Farm Tomita: 1) They have big Noshi Hayazaki Lavender field. 2) Tomita farm is smaller than Shikisai Hill and you can only walk around. However, there are more shops, especially Lavendar product, at Farm Tomita. 3) There are more choice of food within the Tomita farm, and there are Tomita Melon shop outside Farm Tomita (Please note: While they uses the name "Tomita", Tomita farm does not allow visitor to bring Tomita Melon products into the farm.) 4) You can see (and join) Lavender perfume making session in the Tomita farm.
Interesting points and really useful to know, thank you 😇😇 !!@@DimSumLoveTravel
Uncle, you went for how many days?
13 days :)
