    I had left eye cataract surgery on April 30th and my vision is no better or maybe even slightly worse! Fuzzy, blurry...I'm so disappointed. Even my eye surgeon is baffled. What could be wrong and what can I do?

    • @Rita50

      I had cataract surgery yesterday with EDOF with astigmatism, it’s been 31 hours after operation and my pupils are still half dilated and the top layer of iris is thinner than other parts of the iris. And I don’t have any focus at all, I see some items at the distance but they are blurry and in some kind of fog. I’m very frustrated that I’m thinking of cancelling the 2nd operation in 2 weeks for the eye which is very myopic as the operated eye with cataract was. But at least I don’t have a cataract there yet, not developed, so I can actually see in glasses. I have post op appointment in 6 days. If my vision is not clear by then the 2nd op will be gone. And I will try to get this eye back.

    3 weeks after transPRK. It is a little bit different day to day. I think vision is 20/25 20/30. The main issue is ghosting. Far away big objects no problem. But close by and small objects are not sharp and difficult to read. I am not worried yes because it is just week 3 but I do hope it will get better. Funny thing is that I had a lot of problems with starburst before surgery but that is completely gone. Also halo's are almost non excisting anymore.

      Over the next two to three days, your vision may remain hazy and blurry as part of the healing process. By about a week after the surgery, you can expect to have achieved approximately 80% of the vision recovery. However, it may take six to eight weeks for your vision to stabilize fully, giving you the clear and crisp vision you desired from the PRK procedure.

    It takes much longer. A week after surgery and I can’t see hardly anything. Doc told me my vision would be blurry but never said how blurry lol. It’s actually horrible. The doc just looked at my eyes yesterday and said the sharpness will deff get better. I just have a new issue that I’m dealing with and the pressure in my eyes now is too high from the Steroid drops. I got added 2 other drops to drop the pressure down. Hopefully it gets better bc it’s making me nervous. Make sure you follow your eye drops to a T. • @vsonlasereyesurgerybrisban8095
      @vsonlasereyesurgerybrisban8095 Месяц назад

      It’s essential to understand that PRK recovery takes time. Your vision might be blurry initially, and stabilising can take a few days to several weeks. Be patient and allow your eyes to heal. Adequate rest and sleep are crucial to your recovery, so ensure you’re getting enough of both. Your surgeon will provide you with specific post-operative care instructions. These instructions are designed to help your eyes heal properly and minimise complications. Following them diligently is crucial for a smooth recovery. This may include using prescribed eye drops and avoiding rubbing your eyes.

    I had replacement surgery about 6 months ago. The right eye was first. During the lazar operation I saw dancing green lights all over the eye. The next day I had a white fog that prevented seeing almost everything. I could barely see that there was a lite eye chart and could not see a single 20/800 letter on it. After 8 days the fog had cleared to the point that I had a soft focus 20/50 vision. Overall it took 9 to 10 weeks to slowly improve to 20/30 vision without the soft focus. After a 12 week wait from the first surgery I had the left eye done and it went about like what I understand to be normal. At 4 weeks I had 20/30 vision. No one has explain what caused the green lights and the fog with a long slow recovery. I'm glad I had the surgeries but was very concerned with the right eye for the first 5 weeks. Because of the problems on the right eye I have had 2 extra checkup with a third coming up next week. So what I'm saying is that the surgery does not always go as planed but the end result can still be good. I don't know what the problem rate is but for me it was 50%.

      Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your experience after your recent laser eye surgery. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing some differences between your left and right eye. We'd like to assure you that this is a normal part of the healing process. After laser eye surgery, it's common for vision to fluctuate as your eyes adjust to their new state. As a result, one eye may heal faster than the other, causing temporary differences in clarity and focus. These fluctuations typically resolve within a few weeks, but it's important to be patient and follow any post-operative care instructions provided by your surgeon. If you have any concerns or questions about your recovery, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to support you throughout your journey to better vision.

      Thank you for sharing your experience 15 days after your laser eye surgery. We understand that it can be concerning to still experience blurry vision at this stage of your recovery, but we want to reassure you that this can be normal. Every individual heals differently after laser eye surgery, and some people may experience a longer recovery period than others. It's not uncommon to experience some blurriness or haziness in your vision during the initial post-operative period, as your eyes are still adjusting to their new state. We recommend that you continue to follow any post-operative care instructions provided by your surgeon, including the use of any prescribed eye drops or medications. It's also important to avoid any strenuous activities or exposure to harsh environments that could potentially affect your eyes during the healing process. If you have any further concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to support you throughout your recovery and ensure that you achieve the best possible results from your surgery.

      We're sorry to hear that you're still experiencing haze three months after your laser eye surgery. While it's common to experience some haziness or fluctuations in vision during the initial healing period, these issues usually resolve within a few weeks. In some cases, however, patients may experience longer-lasting haze or other visual issues. This can be due to a variety of factors, such as pre-existing eye conditions or complications during the surgery. We recommend that you schedule a follow-up appointment with your surgeon to have your eyes evaluated and discuss any ongoing issues you may be experiencing. They can provide you with a more personalised assessment and recommend any further treatments or adjustments that may be necessary to help improve your vision. Thank you for choosing our clinic for your laser eye surgery, and please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.

      Thank you for contacting us and sharing your experience two weeks after your PRK surgery. It's not uncommon to experience some visual changes or fluctuations during the healing process, but we understand that experiencing double vision can be concerning. Double vision, or diplopia, can occur after PRK surgery due to a variety of factors, such as dry eyes, swelling, or changes in the shape of the cornea. We recommend that you schedule a follow-up appointment with us to have your eyes evaluated and determine the underlying cause of your double vision. We may recommend additional treatments or adjustments to help improve your vision, such as prescribing new eyeglasses or contact lenses. In some cases, diplopia may resolve on its own as your eyes continue to heal, but it's important to have your eyes evaluated to ensure that there are no underlying issues that require further attention. Thank you for choosing VSON for your PRK surgery, and please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.

      Thank you for contacting us and sharing your experience 7 days after your PRK surgery. It's not uncommon to experience some fluctuations in your vision during the initial healing period, and it's possible that your left eye is still in the process of adjusting. However, if you're concerned that your left eye is not healing as quickly as your right eye, we recommend that you schedule a follow-up appointment with your surgeon to have your eyes evaluated. They can perform a thorough examination to determine if there are any underlying issues that require further attention. In some cases, additional treatments or adjustments may be necessary to help improve the clarity of your vision. We may recommend the use of additional eye drops or medications, or they may advise you to avoid certain activities or environments that could potentially affect your eyes during the healing process.
