    Good video. Great production quality. On the Brand discussion. I fully agree and the Brans also. This is a big reason for the Battery. Ryobi particular. They focus is also only on the re-use of battery. So once into the Brand, never out. On tools like a sander or router it makes zero sense to me to use battery. You need the dust collection so will still have a "connection" anyway. Unless it is for outdoor use when battery can be a good choice.

    Your saw costs 4x what I recently paid for my one (Fujiwara Sangyo company) which is like a cheap copy of the Dewalt, but it works perfectly fine as far as I can tell. $1000 would be big money for one tool in my hobby shop.

      That’s good, I’m glad you’re happy with your table saw! I’ve never heard of the Fujiwara, but maybe one day I’ll have the opportunity to have a look. In this case the dewalt was actually around $500 in my country, and I think they’re cheaper in the US. Still a lot of money, I agree, but overall I’m really happy with this choice

      I made a mistake converting the yen price. Here in Japan, the Dewalt costs 100,000 yen which is around $715 but that could seem reasonable since my other hobby is cycling where road bikes cost around this amount or more.

    its worth it, especially for beginners. the rack and pinion fence system is not only accurate but its also easy to use and amazingly fast. it requires extra skill and time fiddling around with a normal fence and then realising your cut is skewed would demoralize you with the work youre doing. I am doing woodworking as a full time job and I once had to work with a bosch table saw at a buddy's shop and oh man how I missed my 7492 at my shop 🤣

    • @Alfior
      @Alfior Месяц назад

      Thanks for sharing, I’ve also read a lot of complaints about the rack and pinion fence system in bosh table saws, which I agree would be a massive pain. Having to recheck your distances every cut would absolutely be a disappointing experience. You save some money…but it ain’t worth it

      @@Alfior check out the new bosch table saw with rack and pinion fence. GTS 15-10 I believe. Pretty similar to the larger dewalt saw, but has more blade height.

    If you are using that same cup, put in vinegar (alcoholic, not the fruity kinds or any other) after 3 spoons of baking soda, and a tea spoon of hot peppers powder (jalapeno or others). mix it to make a swirl and add the pliers and set for a day. If you can force open them, do so for more surface reach.

    they probably rusted together INSIDE the hinge/pivot so i doubt anything could penetrate at this point if penetrating oil cant maybe try putting soap in rust remover but i doubt that would work worst case scenario i recommend giving them a viking funeral
