🙏
I believe the people of Atiu are very grateful for the work you are doing. Those who went to war to protect our country and people should always be remembered in our prayers and treasures in our hearts. May
@@terrytereapii8931 we hope to get back there (maybe next year) as we have a few more soldiers to locate there. 🌺
Great work team 👏
We proud that we got part mangaia
My dad grandfather from Mangaia Terepo he die in my island Eua In 🇹🇴
Quite the adventure this one.. Will definitely go back and look at the other uploads. Thanks for all the hard work involved everyone
Thank you for the positive feedback. The Mangaia soldier search series is currently airing in the Cook Islands and we hope to upload it in the near future. The Rarotonga Soldier Search series has been filmed over the past seven years and it will be a while before it is ready to screen. 🌺
Will keep an eye out for that. Find these to be informative as I'm a kiwi born and know little about our history in the Cook Islands
@@madangryfisherman we are also working on our new website ‘Cook Islands Online Cenotaph’ and we hope to have the WWI content uploaded by September. Following that, we will start on the WWII/Coastwatchers content and we will go from there. 🌺
The scenery is nice.
Thank you for this documentary. I'm from Atiu, I'm proud of our soldiers and proud of the great work these beautiful ladies are doing to ensure that their memories will not be forgotten. We shall remember them!!!
Thank you Teremoana for your feedback. We are working hard behind the scenes to get our Cook Islands Online Cenotaph website online for the benefit of all Cook Islanders. Lest We Forget their sacrifice🌺
Kaore atu te reka ta korua rare, e ,eeu mai nei I teia au poaki akamaara anga I teia au vaeau.
Just today we were at the tunnelers memorial in Waihi when I saw the stone memorialising Tau Kopungaiti 16/1207 from Mangaia. It made a connection because my pāpā ru'au is from Mangaia. Anyway it brought me here. This work is so important thank you for taking it on. Especially for the Kūki community as many begin to return to their roots. Meitaki ma'ata!
Thank you for your feedback. We located the burial ground of Tau Kopungaiti 16/1207 in April last year, although the exact grave is unknown. You will see this in the upcoming Mangaia series which will be shared on this channel.
