I just bought my first stanley and thought I was stupid. Why was the straw facing away from me. Finally got it at least towards me though it won't perfectly line up.

For the people who think this is not work it does you just have to screw it tight whenever you do it tight it will work and even if you do like the straw in front of the Stanley logo on front of your cup, you can line it up screw it, but have to do it tight

This doesn't work, it doesn't twist that far, but it does work to start the hole above the handle. 1/4 turn and your there.

Thank you for your review. I like you were, am lugging the big vacuum around. I just saw this vacuum tonight and saw a few comments that the vacuum was loud. You are the first review that actually turned on the vacuum so I could hear how loud it is and I don't think it's loud at all. Thank you! I think some people are blaming the vacuum when I think they mean the cutting system being a little loud. I'm good with it though.

The marking at the bottom inside the cup that looks like a recycle symbol, tells you how to do this! But people don't read or follow directions properly I guess.. 🙄
