Just want to say thanks for the great review, I took your advice and checked out Dell site first. $329 CDN. Not into gaming but for productivity use. Thanks again!
I've been doing similar tests on my 3090. All of a sudden started getting black screen under load. Could still hear sound and have to hard reboot to get back on. Done all same tests as you. I removed my extension cables and started thinking it was Power supply itself. Bought a new power supply and still same issue. Fortunately I wanted a new power supply for when the 5090 comes out. Still testing today but currently as I type this message the last thing I've tried is removing the Riser Cable and plugging direct into motherboard and my gameplay seems more stable. Have you had any issues since and are you using a riser?
No riser or any additional cables in my system, and since I swapped back to the original psu cable I haven't had a single black screen. So it was definitely a power delivery issue caused by the cable extension.
it used VA panel, black smearing infested in this monitor
It is a VA panel i didn't notice black smearing while testng it, but VA panels can have black smearing problems
Hp envy x360 2-in-1 laptop 13-bf0004nx Would it work well with counter strike 2?
I haven't tested CS2 yet but I did a video testing 9 different games on this laptop that you could check out. It got 80fps on high in Valorant and 60fps on low settings in F1 2020 so i think it should handle cs2 pretty well.
Once you've tried OLEDs color depth and responsiveness, i's hard to go back to anything else.
Ya its crazy you compare everything with Oled after.
Can you open the laptop with just one hand? Or do you need to hold the bottom of the laptop down to stabilize while opening it?
You could technically open it with 1 hand the base lifts up a bit but I was able to do it
Refreshing is done manually or just turning off the monitor and wait should be done?
You can keep it to manual where the monitor remind you after 4 hours of use and you decide yes or no, or you cab set it to auto where it will do it when the monitor is on standby
@@RobsCorner thank you friend I actually have a Corsair xeneon 27 240 oled just some minutes ago I got the message, it seems like new monitors the time is 8 hours now and if you just turn off when the message appear it will start refreshing Greetings from Brazil
@gustavojorge2134 very nice screen too!
Thanks for your kind support for FIFINE! Nice vid!
Thank you! Do you know if this laptop can run Once Human?
I'm not sure it doesn't seem too demanding but I can try and test it tomorrow since it's f2p
@@RobsCorner ok
@askbrent1158 on very low settings on 1080p I was getting around 22 fps , once I dropped the res to 720p I was seeing 35-40fps
How do you pair this version w steam deck? I've purchased mine for switch But now that ive sold my switch im having trouble pairing it w steam deck
There are 2 ways if your using a dock you can plug the usb dongle if not you can connect it with Bluetooth. Bluetooth settings add device make sure you have the controller in Bluetooth mode on the back then press the sync button on top of the controller and the stramdeck should find it as a new device.
Looks amazing! and sound is actually really good
Thank you!
Sure I'll give it a shot. I didn't thought it was the cable, instead I thought it could be my power supply😂
I hope it's just a cable much cheaper fix than a new psu
Oled is by far one of the best investment I made for my pc setup so far(I got the MSI 4k 240hz one, I also ran an older 27inch LG oled as secondary, which used to be my main 6 month ago). Does it have its annoyance, yeah, to prevent burn in I ran an all black desktop and I usually keep it around 60% brightness(which is bright enough for me). But I can live with this kind of small annoyance especially when the picture quality and motion clearity are this good.
Every form of tech will have its drawbacks, but you have to go with your needs and what will bring you the best experience
Every form of tech will have its drawbacks, but you have to go with your needs and what will bring you the best experience
This is a settings issue, no picture on my ips monitor has ever looked like this
Put it next to an OLED and it absolutely does
Is Lenovo monitor older version compatible with these laptop?
I don't see why not, if the monitor has an hdmi port you should be good to go.
How about Text readability? I see a lot of people complain that they are "unuseable" as the Samsung OLED Displays use triangular LEDs and this causes text to have a red and green outline. Has this beeen an issue for you or did you find its mainly people overreacting? (I am doing Webdesign and editing in PS, LR... mainly 8h a day).
Ya I went through the difference and compared them in my Oled vs ips video you can see the difference too
Dealing with same thing. Hope that fixes it as well becauze ive even fucked my cpu a little on accident. Brain was drained 😭
Hope it works, was going crazy trying to figure it out
The problem with these headsets at this price is always the humming you get with it plugged into an Xbox, maybe it’s the mic monitoring or something else but it’s almost universally going to happen at this price range for sure I’m convinced unless someone can say otherwise from personal experience that it doesn’t happen
I haven't had any of that when using it with my pc or steamdeck but I can't comment on ps5 or xbox or other console because I don't have any of them and haven't tested it.
why would you shut the monitor off, just leave it on so it goes into sleep mode after 20 secs with no PC detected then it can do pixel/panel refresh
Ya that works too I just like having the peace of mind that's it's off ans there is nothing on the screen. I don't mind doing the pixel refresh when needed too
What kind of ips the left one? It's kinda good compared to the right one...
Both side monitors are the same the dell s2721dgf
@@RobsCorner why the left one light is more dimmer than the right tho? How do you maintain it?? Sorry if I'm asking too much, I didn't really know about monitor..
@@ashiharasaiyou2898 No problem, they were bought at 2 different times so different production batches, one is August 2020 the other is June 2021 and with IPS screens each screen will have some variation of backlight bleed, some worse than others.
@@RobsCorner oooo I see so it depends on how good the screen hold without bleeding? And they happen at random yes?
And time also one of the reason for bleeding too?
You're video lighting is off, its too dark.
Your not wrong I think I fixed it for the most part in following videos
Hey, that Saturn wallpaper is awesome. Where can I get it? :)
Thanks all my wallpapers are from wallpaper engine on steam
Your IPS monitor doesn't have any backlight zones. Or more accurately, it has a single zone, if you want to say it that way.
Dimming zones might have been the more appropriate term.
@@RobsCorner It's another term for the same thing, but still not applicable for the 3418DW, it's a single backlight unit and it doesn't dim according to content, it's always the same for the whole sreen.
Me watching this knowing damn well I'm not buying oled
Trust me I watch alot of videos of stuff I won't buy lol
@@RobsCorner 😂😂
My question is what's better ips 4k or 1080p oled?
Are there any 1080p oled monitors ? A lot to factor in including your pc specs, use case scenario budget etc. But I think the sweet spot is 1440p oled high refresh rate
@@RobsCorner yh there's a portable 1080p oled
@@RobsCorner but what do u think is better a 4k ips or a 1080p oled?
@CuriousGamer022 if the option is 4k ips or portable small 1080p oled I say 4k ips
@@RobsCorner OK thx 👍😊
can this moniter connect to a mac
Yes its a display and will connect with display port or hdmi
@@RobsCorner thanks, btw is 6,000 hkd worth the moniter?
@spikyy_boi2892 I'm not sure how the pricing structure works over there the monitor is around $450 Canadian here which is about 3000 -4000hkd but I don't know what the market is like over there
@@RobsCorner k thanks i just subscribed!
@@spikyy_boi2892 thank you I appreciate it

10/10 good reel
samsung lg 3 year warranty for burn in worrying under 2 years the oled is burnt
Always good to have the warranty for peace of mind
the grills on either side of keyboard are just for looks not speakers they are not even vents just design choice. speakers are bottom firing.
Thanks for the correction, you are correct they are purely for aesthetics
I REALLY wanted to get an OLED (AW3423DWF) for gaming but I use the monitor 80-90% of the time for work/coding etc and it sounds like IPS is just still way better for that, especially at 1440p Ultrawide. I'm leaning towards the LG UltraGear 38GN950-B 38" (which is 3840x1600 so slightly better res as well).
Ya ips is still incredibly solid, just remember it's not only about resolution but PPI based on screen size, the 38 inch has a higher res but since it's bigger it has a bit less PPi than the 34 inch. Not big enough in this case to be an issue, but remember a 24 inch 1920x1080p will look much better than a 27 inch 1080p screen at desk level.
the one I can afford😂
Haha ya when it comes to tech and golf, i''m not the most money conscious lol
OLED will turn u out & u will never look at life the same again.. I have been ruined ever since I got a taste of my first OLED last week 😢
Haha your not wrong I notice it everytime I watch TV
Which laptop I should choose in this price range if I want a decent performance for at least 3 to 4 years ?
That's a loaded question depends on what performance you need ? Do you need it to be a 2 in 1 tablet ? Are you gonna game? Edit videos? Image colour correction? Or just general web browsing and Microsoft office
Is 60hz is enough is it working smooth.. I need for video editing purpose should I go for it??
Are you editing videos that are more than 60fps and exporting with more than 60fps? I think it's fine for video editing
@@RobsCorner no I'm saying that is it worth to buy 60hz display as in this price range we can get 144hz or 165hz .. I'm inexperienced with the laptops so can you guide me did the refresh rate matters for video editing.. as I've seen best display in this price range is of Asus vivo book OLED and I want to buy it but it's huge deal for me so I'm just cautious..
@YuvrajRawalPro ya its a tough call I would prefer something with higher hz because I like to game but should be a major issue for video editing , it all depends if you find a good deal on it. I personally would not pay full price for this laptop since some of the drawbacks bother me but at a discount ted price it could be very worth it
@@RobsCorner I appreciate for helping me .. thanks 👍

where u get the risers at?

It reminds me of the Lenovo Legion Go's Ergonomic Controllers. I really wished more tech companies comes out with a vertical Ergonomic Mouse like this for gaming. It feels so flexible to use it, and it lessens the strain of our wrists. Like gaming chairs before.
There are a lot of Ergonomic options by specialty tech companies , but sometimes there not very budget friendly
50%off on Amazon right now for limited time. Are these 3 pin switch only?
Just got mine delivered a minute ago, couldn't resist the discount. Not super impressed with it though. Just popped a switch out to check, it can do 3 or 5 pin.
Ya both pin sets work,
I'm surprised for the discount seems like a killer deal i still use it as my daily
Just ordered mine should be here tomorrow. First time diving into the hobby with this board. Wish me luck!
@@demus89 good luck it's a great board to start with
i don't know if u have already but i would recommend doing a review with the ajazz ak820 pro. probably the BEST budget keyboard out there, especially with the flying fish switches. and u have gained a sub <3 great work.
Thank you,l I'll take a look and see if there is one available to check out and review in the future.
I'm looking at the ak820 now, damn your really gonna make me buy it lol
What is the adaptor small box where u added something to the end? I bought one last week that has everything but not that. Does it need that?
Depends on your tv but it didn't come with it, it's a adapter I think it's called tv antenna to coax adapter. The tv I was using was didn't have the 2 antenna hookups only the coax so had to get an adapter or try and find an older tv lol
im in middle school and when i put the laptop in tent mode and copy notes i get a lot more space to put my book which is great
Yup it would be cool if all laptops did that to be honest even the non touch ones so you can connect a better keyboard and mouse and game on it without having the laptop keyboard in front of you

78 degrees.. on what specs?
5950x zotac 3090 fan setting was on quiet mode usually gets to 75 -78 in games.
Hi, doen the computer have a loud fan?
The fans kick in when it's being used at 100% or gets hot but regular usage it's pretty quiet
i just ordered this monitor today for about 350 canadian including shipping! I main an Alienware ultrawide oled but have been getting nervous about using it as a daily, so this fits the bill perfectly for my daily and basic content consumption! Also same curvature which is nice, every other ultrawide I looked seemed to have a 1500R curve which I feel would look odd being right next to mine! Cant wait to get it
Only a few more to go and you can create a full 360 surround ultrawide setup
@@RobsCorner LOL I was almost considering getting 2 to put on each side of the OLED, but I convinced myself I dont need it, at least for now..
@@DelScullyhow is it
@@JaronPalone i really like it, i honestly use it 3/4 time when using my computer and my oled just sits there lol. Dont get me wrong the oled is great for rpg games and movies, but not having to worry about burn in on static content or games that have huds all the time is nice. The colours are obviously not nearly as good, but once calibrated they are more than passable and the ghosting and smearing are very minimal for a VA panel.. I've yet to be thrown out of immersive game play by noticing it.
About editing ips best for editing
How do you lower the sensor when you add a bezel?
Do you mean the light sensitivity sensor or the actual physical sensor ? There is a setting for light sensitivity and the Samsung bezel shouldn't interfere with the sensors
