Easy Sew Christmas Stocking!🎄
1. Take a stocking you own, get some tissue paper you use for wrapping, I used wax paper, and trace the stocking.
2. Cut out pattern and pin to material. Use the same pattern for the inside of the stocking.
3. When sewing the inside portion of the stocking, make the seam allowance a little bigger so it fits inside of the first stocking.
You can use recycled materials, maybe an old shirt from a loved one. It would be a wonderful way to remember them for the holidays! please share your finished product!

Ladder Stitch Tutorial Materials to use: Size 11 seed beads Side D Nemo thread Size 10 needles Wax
I have been stuck trying to pull the two threads together. Whenever the needle catches the other one it feels like it’s gonna come with it but when I try to pull it out it’s just the first thread that comes out and not the second thread. Pls help 😭
When you turn the wheel on the back of the machine towards you, watch the thread come around the bobbin. Stop when the needle is at its highest. Have a seam ripper or a pencil handy, hold the end of the thread that you threaded your needle with and drag the seam ripper under the foot of the machine, the part that you put down to hold your material in place, and it should pull up the thread from the bobbin. Watch the video after reading this description, maybe you will be able to understand it better. Good look!😊
Excellent! Thank you for the help. I bought this machine online recently, but it's been years since I've used a sewing machine. I used to make my own scrub-shirts, back in my CNA days. (Retired, now) Your step-by-step is instrumental, and invaluable. 👌
@@CofyjunkyPNW so happy the video was useful! Happy sewing!💖
This is very helpful, but I can't get past the step where the thread is fed through the needle - it seems physically impossible to do.
@@davidd337 I find the need that comes from the factory with the machine seems to have a smaller eye where you thread the needle. Maybe take the needle to the store and compare it to a multipurpose needle?? Just a suggestion. Also make sure your needle is up as high as it can go and the foot is down. This will give you more room.
Thank you so much!!! I've spent so long trying to sort this out, all the instructions I found just added to the confusion. Can't stress enough how much help your video was!
What Little hook! I can't see past your hands and the blurry screen!!!
okay!! i got all the way until you added the bobbin and i got lost😅 where does the sting used for the bobbin come from if its already down to the needle! sorry if that’s confusing!!
Okay so the part with a bobbin is a whole different segment for if u want to add thread to your bobbin so when u do your bobbin u take ur thread out the needle and do what she says
Just got my sewing machine. So glad to have found this vid so I can get started right away. Thanks for this wonderful video!!😊
thank you so much <33
once my needle comes down for the bobbin it doesn’t bring up the thread!! i’m stuck😭
Make sure you have plenty of thread coming through the needle. Also make sure thread for the bobbin has caught under the gap. When you place bobbin on pull the thread to the left and it should catch. Good luck!
Girl ain't no where does it say to put the foot button down on this instructions, good gravey, thank you from one very upset mother trying to help her kid, that was all we where doing wrong. Had dad look double check called a friend she was like idk machine might be broke then, no just no one said hey push this down first. I really hope we can make something now, I think I will make some earl gray and watch my littlest enjoy this headache of a machine and I think mom will stick to crochet and needle felting lol.
Happy this helped! She will have fun once she get's the hang of it! watch my pillow video, it's simple. She can use an old sheet to practice on. If you have an old stuff animal or old pillow, use that for the stuffing. Happy Sewing!
thank you so so SO much! couldn't find any other tutorials for this machine, this is super helpful!
Where's the pedal 😅😢
@Orange_45367 I’m sorry, I guess I missed that part.🤦🏻♀️
@NativeArtsStudio I wait nvm I'm slow I forgot I had my pedal for a minute
What are you marking the fabric with? I’m new to this
@@devora0815 yay on your new sewing machine! If you’re new I suggest you start by practicing with recycled materials, such as old sheets, t-shirts, or any old clothing. Fold a piece of material in half, pin it, cut it, and follow the video. If you have an old stuffed animal or old pillow you can use that for stuffing. Good luck! Post picture of project!✨
This was VERY helpful!! I was beginning to get annoyed thinking I had to return my machine..😢 I got it cheap and in Black because it's so elegant!! 😄😂 Your video has helped me greatly! Thank you so much, God bless you..🙏
@@FaithInChristAlone77 you’re welcome and thank you! God bless you as well!🙏🏼
2:50 timestamp for this stupid thread 🫠
