Almond milk, carpenter glasses & gloves w get you thru this. Eyeballs were burning after de-veining my 11th Serrano pepper (it squirted!). Do NOT wash w water, almond milk has the key fats needed to subdue the hellish burn 😑

I watched this video. Don’t do what she did to get the seeds out of the pits. Get a hammer and a couple taps will pop the pits open. Also do it on a concrete floor or a rock.

@janejdough2230 3 weeks ago (edited) Peptic Enzyme ( you can find it where wine making things are sold). Add 1 / 8 the teaspoon per quart and soak for 12 ish hours or overnight . Shake and rinse several times the pith will slough off easily. Preserve as directed.
