A 12 string guitar is so different than a 6 string guitar...it's almost like the momentum of a Big Rig Semi Truck.... Thank Mr Steve Earle... he's the real deal!!

I first heard this song in, of all places, a charming 1992 British film called "Wild West". The film revolves around a group of young Pakistani men in London who form a country band and have dreams of going to Nashville. The soundtrack is almost entirely Steve Earle tunes, including this one, all done well. Loved it ever since.

I saw Steve with Dwight Yoakam and Drivin N Cryin in Daytona Beach a long time ago. When Valerie and I walked in, everyone turned around to look at her. Boots, hat, fringe. She was the most beautiful woman in the Ocean Center that night. What a concert! Good times! ❤
