Hi ajak, you would need to extend this to other war veterans beyond Bor. It must be challenging due to poor Internet connectivity in South Sudan but it's important their wonderful stories are documented and kept.

the most emotional part of this interview is the death of Nyankiir Jurkuch. we got shot while in the bus enroute to Kakuma refugee camp on 12th, April, 2002 at about 6:30pm at Kalimngorok Junction. It is the worst memorable day of my life since she was shot while seated on my lap. Uncle Jurkuch is a man of resilience and noble deeds.

I don't think Kuol Manyang Juuk was a Major but captain when he was graduated with Agreeb battalions..he was promoted Major when he was transferred to Bor.

Uncle Majok Dut Mourwel has a great sense of humor. Great stories, a true liberator indeed-one that is sincerely unsung.
