We saw Brotherhood through lowest grunt perspective (Max, Dane, Thadd, training camp, etc) which is just a distraction, while we also were informed (already in ep1) that BoS intercepted entire intel from The Enclave, and operated independently of all others via stagging accross-entire-country operation, has vast resources, and in the end got "the thing" that everyone was going for. Also little detail like BoS SCANNING the head for "the thing" instead poking around trying to find what ever "the thing" is, tells us that BoS knew exactly what it is and what it does..

Honestly, I wish that they'd made a side series centering on Zephyr and Nuffink finding the nightlights, and Astrid and Hiccup just going with it and realizing that they can't get rid of the dragons from Berk, and instead, just keeping a low profile for Berk, with the dragons.

Last week's episode talking about Book 3: "Netflix's version of Game of Thrones" In a way they already had one; TrollHunters Rise of the Titans which ended poorly in under 10 minutes a record 😅 Another thing I feel they missed out on in Netflix's Avatar was not establishing how they knew Aang was the Avatar no toys to choose from like how they choose the Deli Llama 🤔

You know what an ironic way for Jun to die would be? For her to die the same way Clemensia Dovecoat did in the Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes movie (okay, technically we don't know is she died because no one brought it up and she did survive in the book, but she was never shown for the rest of the movie, so for the sake of the argument, we'll just assume she died). In the movie, Coriolanus Snow was tasked by Dr. Gaul to make a pitch for improvements for the games, and Clemensia immediately volunteers to help him, clearly wanting all the glory (technically in the book the assignment was for all of the mentors and she was just partnered with Snow, but again, we're going by the movie). After the death of their classmate Arachne Crane (in the books she was partnered with Clemensia and Snow for the project), she is unable to help and Snow does the report all by himself and turns it in the next morning. During class the next day, Clemensia and Snow are brought to Gaul to talk about the report, and when there, Gaul asks which one of them wrote it, and Clemensia immediately says that she was the one to do it, taking all the credit (in the books she says that she and Snow both did it, but again, we're going by the movie). Dr. Gaul then shows the two that the paper with the report is in a large tank filled with extremely venomous snakes (and they are proven to be very deadly when Gaul unleashes the snakes into the arena and they kill several tributes). Gaul tells them that the snakes won't harm them as long as they recognize their scent. So Clemensia tries to pull the paper out hoping that they won't bite her, but surprise surprise, she gets bit and falls off the platform they were standing on, which if I had to guess was between 8-15 feet above ground. Now, what is the ironic part of this you may be asking? It's that Jun's voice actor Ashly Liao also played Clemensia Dovecoat in the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. (That was way longer than I thought it was going to be.)

Well when the show was first announced I thought it was fake and when it was released I hated it it is the worst TV show I have ever seen

This series was already a waste of time, and this final, miserable season was just icing on a cake made of Radium

Dragons are larger creatures it's like horses they hwve bigger lungs they cqn hold more oxygen plus there are multiple semi aquatic reptiles in the real world

They have trees and the sun abd whole entire nature realm they don't need dragonsite even if there agurment us it's creates oxygen because they have so many other sources for oxygen

Yh...as a fan of Astrid, what they did with her was completely unnecessary. They've been referencing Hiccup and his legacy the entire time in the show. It was not necessary to shoehorn Astrid just for shock value. How similar is Tom to Astrid anyway? Not at all. Although he's a discounted and degraded version, Tom is most similar to Hiccup. If anyone is similar to Astrid, it would be Alex. At least Alex possesses Astrid's zero tolerance for nonsense. For what they did in the finale, it was more insulting than I would've thought.

Tbh, I did enjoy the scene where Tom snapped his fingers causing Jormungandr to dance to the Driftveil City theme.

One thing I don't understand is, this entire adventure basically amounts to nothing. Like I understand the discovery if dragons changes the characters themselves but unlike the original where they changed the world around them by fixing the natural problems. Most if not all the problems these guys face, they caused themselves

As you explained the Astrid thing i wondering if the creators were actually malicious enough to reveal that Tom wasn't related to Hiccup but to Astrid (implying Astrid had an affair or something) just to enrage the fandom in the last episode. Salt the fields and wound on their way out. I would have respected that sort of malice just a little bit.

Frozen is not even close to a top 10 disney film, their 2d animated works are far better in my opinion, my personal favorite being 1940's Pinocchio. But with stuff like mulan, the lion king, beauty and the beast, frozen just can't compare.

Audrie should not compare Tom-Jun's episode to Hiccstrid's Blindsided. Blindsided deserves a better and more worthy comparison. It (Tom-Jun) can be compared to Mi Amore Wing, since there was basically a disagreement or misunderstanding between the two. In Mi Amore Wing, Dagur and Mala rub their love in front of everyone's faces and then Snotlout puts Hiccstrid on the spot, confronting why they barely show affection to each other in public (as compared to Eugene confronting Tom for liking Jun). Hiccup said their relationship was based on friendship, basically friendzoning his girlfriend. Astrid was not happy but reluctantly goes along with Hiccup (in TNR Jun straightway threw a tantrum when Tom couldn't communicated properly). Instead of throwing tantrums, Astrid thought of things alone and decided to work things out herself so she wears the necklace Hiccup gifted her, hoping he would at least notice. But poor Hiccup missed it severally, despite one of the twins noticing it right away. He even spotted a dragon lens ahead of her. Astrid was disappointed, kept quiet but still did not throw about a tantrum until he FINALLY noticed something was off with her. She then communicated her feelings to Hiccup WITHOUT insulting and demeaning him. When it was time to save the day and Hiccup ran out of ideas and needed her help, Astrid put her grudges aside, went to him and declared her support "I'm with you". At the end, she admitted her wrong FIRST by saying she was overreacting. Now let's see what dear Jun did. When Tom decided to apologize and make things right, she was still arguing with him, reading meanings into his words, not giving him the benefit of the doubt. They got stuck in that tree and it only got worse; mocking him, insulting him, blaming him for everything and basically she forced him into confessing his feelings for her. Before she confessed how scared she was (so did she mean she was scared so had to be insulting him like that). Astrid behaved 10x more maturely than Jun ever did, (when she even had more reasons to be wild at Hiccup because dude friendzoned her publicly and ignored her efforts the whole day) and she even said she was overreacting. If Astrid was overreacting in that situation, then what do we say of Jun?

I always thought Audrie was exaggerating how toxic Jun was until I watched the Tom-Jun episode. Honestly, Jun deserves every hatred she gets from the fandom.

1.Was I the only one who felt bad for Buzzsaw in 404 Alex Not Found? He called Alex "friend" and then she betrayed him. I would have been fine if she teamed up with Buzzsaw and Sledkin. The others don't deserve her. 2. The only thing that can save this show is Tom cheating on Jun with Alex. 3. The Glass Caster is a rip-off Sandbuster. 4. Jun had them all under the placebo effect in episode 4. 5. Thunder does not understand the concept of "the good of the many outweighs the good of the few." If he did, he wouldn't have opened the cage and put the entire dragon world in fatal danger. 6. Why would Hiccup make it so that only one of Toothless' descendants could open the cage, for that matter, why even make it so that the cage could even be opened, and for that matter, why even lock it up, just kill it damn thing. 7. Someone please tell me why Jormundandr is the apex predator? That thing looks like a mutated Slitherwing. And, how in the world would that thing eat, say, an Eruptodon? Yes, I have heard the theories that it will grow larger as it eats, but seriously Dreamworks? Now you aren't even trying to hide the fact that this thing is a rip-of Great Devourer from Ninjago (I mean, it's kinda already obvious considering the title "Rise of Jormungandr" is very reminiscent of "Rise of the Great Devourer", but you get what I mean). Anyway, not the point. The point is that there is a dragon that they could have used. It's called the Purple Death. Not only is this thing massive, but the vikings actually thought at first that this thing was the "Serpent of Midgard" aka Jormungandr. Also, this thing was implied to be able to live for hundreds of years in a state of hibernation. 8. "Hearts of Heroes" is beat for beat "The Cave of Two Lovers" from Avatar: the Last Airbender. 9. You can't look me in the face and tell me that the Typhoomerang courtship ritual was not a Bald Eagle mating ritual. My prediction for season 8: The Sky Torcher will be revealed to be alive (I know, it makes no sense, but since when do the writers of this show care about that), and it and it's pack of Flamethrowers will join the heroes and they'll probably bring back the Fault Ripper and several other dragons we've seen in this show and there will probably be something like season 3's finale (I know, it's repetitive, but it just seems like what they would do). And at some point Thunder will go Alpha because of course he will. Edit: I called it.

To be honest, the most important here will be friendship between Hiccup and Toothless. If they screwed it, be honest, movie is wrecked.

This show is hot garbage

I've watched all three KFP shows, and I can say that they share the exact same problem: none of the shows take the original trilogy seriously enough, and therefore come across as more like parodies of the movies rather than a truly worthy additions and expansions of the universe.

Sooo hot take: Alex sucked in episode 6. Not entirely but kinda. Like it all goes well and what you'd expect, which is Alex being amazing, but then the scene when Feather collapses the silver on the other kids and their dragons. She could have fricking MURDERED THEM and it was all just for a distraction to gain Buzzsaw's trust. I don't think she could have been sure if they would survive, what if they didn't? She gets better after that scene but it was the one time when she geniually pissed me off.

For me the "Romantic flight" scene and especially after they find the nest and Astrid is like (paraphrasing) "Are you really gonna keep all this a secret for your pet dragon?" And Hiccup replies "yes" without hesitation is when she gains a proper respect for Hiccup himself.

These shows would have been a great opportunity to expand on the Furious Five especially Tigress

For me, this season was easily (And this is saying quite a bit) the most SMUG! It really gave the inkling that the writers have watched mine and Audrie's reviews and, instead of applying those criticisms to make the show better, instead, now they've gone into that self-aware territory of simply making jokes about how bad the writing is. Which, if you ask me, isn't a sign of improvement. It's basically an admission that you're incapable of improving your craft to get better. The writers KNOW what they're doing and they're doing it intentively now. Given how this season ended, I have a feeling that perhaps Season 8 will be the end of the show(THANK GOD!!!), but only God can imagine how it will go on to bastardize the franchise even more.

I think the only good thing out of episode 4 is that the typhoomerang courtship ritual was pretty cool.
